Yes, Earl (Paul's brother, my Papa) lived in AZ with his wife (my Granny), Theresa. She is still alive and living in AZ. And he was a nice guy. My Dad, Larry Langford, is Theresa's son; however, Earl raised my Dad from when he was a small boy and was very much his father. Earl was the grandfather I knew and grew up with. They lived nearby in Downey until I was almost out of high school when they moved to AZ. My Dad, me and my brother all live in CA.

Transfer made. BTW - My Papa (Earl) was Paul's brother. I'm Larry's daughter.

He's now under Myrtle Diane Scott Hedge. I don't know how I missed that. I have it correct in my tree. He was my great-uncle.
Thank you for letting me know.

Thank you Virginia - I will have to make another trip to the Vulcan to see if anyone can identify some of the "Unknown Unknown" memorials.
Thank you for all that you are doing to preserve the memories of those that have gone before.

There were quite a number of headstones that are hard to read. I didn't identify a headstone for Allie.
I create "Unknown Unknown" memorials if both the given and surname are illegible and use "Unknown" in the appropriate spot if one of the names is clear. I listed the nearby graves on these memorials and if you can find out from the town office the names on the nearby graves we may be able to get you a photo of Allie's headstone.
Your assistance would be greatly appreciated in the completion of any of these memorials. If you can help, please click the Edit tab at the top and send me a message.

|Melody Roswell||Vira Ackles-Little Daly|
I was just noticing the grave marker for Vira Little Daly and am wondering if you actually can tell me anything about this lady. She would be a great aunt of mine through my gr-gr-gr-grandfather's line. Her father was George Ackles and Louisa T. Walker-Ackles was her mother.
I am interested in finding out her exact birthdate and I know that she was married to Harry Harvie Little in 1883 in La Grande, Union Co. OR. George and Louisa came from Missouri (actually George was born in OH to James and Elizabeth Rader-Ackles in 1832) and actually had quite a write up in the Oregon History and Bio section which I have a copy of for him. Louisa and George also had a son by the name of Neri who died in 1928 in Portland, OR. So if you can tell me anything about Vira I would greatly appreciate the information.

I was wondering if these happen to be relatives of yours? They are my gg grandparents. If you are related, I'd love to speak with you.
Thank you so much,

Thank you for the transfer of this memorial. She is a relative of my husbands. Also thank you for going the extra step & adding parents & children when you entered her memorial. This really helped confirm that we had the correct person, especially since she had moved out of state & we didn't know her married name.

|Never Forgotten©2011-2014||Nellie I. Starr|
Dear Virginia - thank you for posting the headstone photo of Nellie Starr and her husband John Starr - I had been looking for them for years. Nellie's parents are buried at Tahoma Cemetery also.
I would be so delighted if you would consider transferring Nellie and John to my care (46921801), but if you would rather not, I would understand.
I have the following to offer, and request links:
Nellie I. Devereaux Starr (64077273) was born in Hayward, Freeborn County, Minnesota.
Her parents were Jediah W. Devereaux (46550994) &
Elizabeth Robinson Devereaux (46551056)
John and Nellie had one daughter, Marjorie Starr.
John Augustus Starr was born in Mt. Pleasant, Minnesota. His parents were Augustus Nathaniel Starr and Mary Rowley Starr. He died in Tacoma.
(His brother, Ard Starr, is also buried at Tahoma Cemetery).
After Nellie passed away, he remarried to Henrietta Starr, and they had two children:
Margarite Starr and Mary Louvine Starr.
Thank you so much.

|Cameron-Ashley Heath||Thank you!|
Thank you so much for taking the headstone photo of Margaret Stice today--I was especially gratified after I saw what condition it was in that I have at least one now before it becomes completely illegible. Any chance you snapped her husband Philip Stice while there? I'm assuming they were buried together. They have a couple kids buried there too, but I hadn't wanted to put them up on Find a Grave until I could ascertain they had headstones since it was just related family saying they were buried there. All had Stice surname as they died unmarried. Thank you again!
