The cemetery staff is great and usually very responsive. This mausoleum can be tricky to find crypts and also to photograph because the lighting is not great. I'm usually make them a little better with editing. Happy for a successful conclusion to your request! Have a great weekend.

Happy I could help you out. Sorry it took a little longer than usual. Never did hear back from the cemetery but was able to figure out the location with my own homemade maps :) Take care

No, during the recording in the 60's they only put down who did have tombstones. So I would say at one time they did have one. Kerlin is located on a steep hillside. So many tombstones are now gone.

RE: Kerlin Cemetery-John Whalen
Again, thank for the clarification of the 3 generations. The Whalen's I have listed on the Kerlin website came from a publication done by a husband and wife team who walked a lot of the cemeteries and recorded tombstones. That was back in the 1960's. So I guess back then some of the Whalen's had tombstones.

Thank you so much! I have a Thomas J Whalen on there, but I have his date of death as Sept 6, 1859. I wonder if it is the same one??

I seen your posting for John Whalen b 1788 and d 1865 and buried at Kerlin Cemetery at Halls, MO. I have a website for Kerlin and I would like your permission to use this information on it. Here is the link to Kerlin:

Thanks, Calvin Funk

Sheryl Fluckiger
Louisa Jane Reed Revell Hults # 48427705
I am writing to ask
how do you know that the Louisa who married George Hults is the same as the one who married James W. Revell.?
The one who married James is my great grandmother.

I don't think she does. It's a pretty cleaned up area.

Thanks for the nice words & you're very welcome. Glad I could help. FYI didn't know whether you are interested or not, but I previously did a new gravestone photo for Sally Moran Clay. Today I uploaded a new photo of her husband Frank M. Clay #103147045. Have a great day.

Carol, my cousin in Tennessee provided me with a 1982 rooster of interments in the Armstrong church cemetery that was done up by one of his ancestors... I will be happy to share that 27 page list with you. We have a family tree going on facebook also... I believe the roster was done by his mother...

Carol to be honest I do not remember a headstone..the Miller info connected to his siblings

You may want to contact the Clay Co Historical Soc to see what they have.

Happy hunting

RE: Mary Miller
You're welcome. I had already taken these photos of Alexander and Mary Miller, thus did not try to clean up stones so that more could be seen. Next time I'm there, I will see if I can. This cemetery is not far from where my great grandparents lived, on property taken over to create Eagle Creek Reservoir and Park, so it is special to me!

Carol, you are very welcome and the photos should already be attached. If not you may attach them gladly. That is always my intention to connect family.

RE: Sarah Kimbrough
You sure can - I don't need credit. I took this picture myself. I have some other Kimbrough photos that I downloaded from "southern middle Tennessee cemeteries". I have contributed several photos to them and I don't put theirs on my site. I will send you the other Kimbrough photos that I took if you want them.
