51315867 Permelia P. Searles
I photographed a headstone for Permelia Searles (1826-1920) at Woodlawn Cemetery in Toledo, Ohio. The headstone is next to Barton Smith and May Searles Smith. I saw that you have a record for her at a different cemetery. I wasn't sure how to proceed. I am not related to the family.
Please let me know if you will be changing the cemetery location or if I should add a record to Woodlawn?

RE: Bruno / Newburg
You are welcome. I did the Bruno research for my close cousin, Marty Bruno. The memorials were easy since I live close to the cemeteries they are buried in. I have all my Bruno research on

RE: Lincoln # 85451996
Walter Lincoln was born in 1852. The father you suggested, Frank was born in 1854 - two years after Walter was born. The mother you suggested, Fannie was born in 1861 - nine years after Walter was born. I rejected the correction because it was not possible for Frank and Fannie to be Walter's parents.

RE: Find A Grave Memorial #49690792 James Nash DeWitt
Thank you!

Re the Capwell connection, do you know any details about Julia Capwell's marriages? She married James Nash DeWitt in 1893 but it would appear she was married first to his brother George Harmer DeWitt in 1879. I've always been curious as to what might have transpired there.

Hello! I was wondering if you would allow me to attach (with appropriate credit given) your headstone photo from this memorial to my tree on Ancestry?

Thanks for considering my request. :)

I got email from a person who found her grave but no gravestone. Her grave site is at Blk 1 and lot 56. So who do i connect from her cemetery? I was thinking to buy gravestone for her grave.

RE: Totten / Roat
Thanks for making the changes. She's distant to me also, so let's leave it. Some folks just put up pages and are happy to transfer so I usually ask if it is part of our line. She was married to a Totten (although for not too long it looks like). Thanks again for doing that!

I found all of her siblings' graves except her. You can find "Hariett Sheldon on Find A Grave at Aux Sable Cemetery. Her nickname is "Hattie". Can you find her?

Hi, Sally
I researched that Harriet Sheldon was born on Jan 29, 1866 and died on March 18, 1866 in Minooka, Grundy, Ill. It was obvious that she was buried there in Minooka, Grundy, Ill and found her name at that cementery. I am sure that she was almost 2 months old when she died and buried there. My great grandfather and grandfather born and grew up in Minooka, Ill.
Harriet was my great grandfather's sister.

Plese upload your gravestone photo [see also Find A Grave #15082697] to the memorial cited above - husband and wife. Both were former next-door neightbors to my parents and family (from 1952-1966)...
