I have searched Bachlott Cemetery and was unable to locate the grave for Mr Johns. I will be getting in touch with someone to try to locate his, and a few other, gravesites. I will let you know if I can locate it.

|Tom & Julie Salvato||Johns and Craig families|
Beth...We'll be taking a picture of William Johns' headstone at Florida National Cemetery for you this week. I am also a Johns and Craig descendant. My grandmother, Margaret Craig born 1910 in Mitchell, Indiana married James Johns born 1917 in Orange County, Florida. I do have their parents names too, if that would help. But I was wondering if you are researching their lines. Thank you, Julie Johns Salvato

I entered all the graves there that have a marker. I am told by local people in Chesterfield that the Craig Cemetery was abandoned and Chesterfield Cemetery was started. The problem I have been told was that there was too much ground water to continue burying there. I cannot tell you if there are unmarked graves there.

We went today and spent about an hour looking for Eula Robertson and Mary Sibert in the McCormick Cemetery. We could not find them but it was a tough search.
Please message me if you are 100% confident they are there and we will try again.

Thank you for updating William's memorial.
Where is your Puckett connection?
My line is through William's youngest son, Oliver Allen Puckett and Lula Chapman Puckett, through their daughter Mary Alma who married Willie Lee Deriso Sr.

I went to Live Oak Cemetery today and took another photo of her headstone for you. Hopefully this one you will be able to see. There is one photo already there that another volunteer place on there. So she has two now. Hopefully this works for you and you can see it. If not send me a message and I will email it to you.

|Jerry Van Herrin||RE: Johns, Herrin|
We have a lot of John's and Herrin's here in Brantley County, Georgia and I think I've got most of them in my family tree. I've tried to add links to their spouses and parents on Findagrave but I've probably missed some.
I'll be glad to share anything I have.

I don't personally have a copy of her memoir but I work at the History Center and can make a copy for you on Monday. I don't remember how many pages it is. A transcript of her memoir has been made. We do charge $0.25/page.
Here is a link to the online catalog entry for her manuscript: http://thehistorycenter.pastperfect-online.com/31399cgi/mweb.exe?request=record;id=9A62C09F-A36D-49C9-9847-544688571334;type=301

While taking the photo you requested I noticed that on the cemetery site there were no pictures of the Dorn family markers. I have taken pictures of as many as I could find and will have them posted soon.

|Billie Greene||Hephzibah Cemetery|
Beth, Hephzibah Cemetery, and Hephzibah-Vance Cemetery in the same cemetery, according to my research. My cousin discovered a list of people that was supposed to be buried at Hephzibah-Vance, but when I walked over the Hephzibah Cemetery, I discovered these same people there that was on that list. Hephzibah Cemetery is in downtown Hephzibah. At the red light in Hephzibah, coming from Hwy 25, turn right. On the left is a Dollar store, which one I don't remember. Right past the dollar store, on the left is the cemetery. Billie Greene
