Yes, I did create a duplicate of memorial # 65904492. It's been deleted. Thank you for bringing to my attention.

Hi Ziggy---are you related to the McLaughlin Family?
I am trying to find a relative Dorcas Ellen McLaughlin 27 JUL 1889 West Va. - 15 DEC 1970 Pima County, Arizona. I have been searching for some time for an obituary for her. Thanks, Marion

J. T. Poe
Hello there! I have stumbled onto a problem with a photo you added for a J.T. Poe in Long Branch Cemetery in Carbon, TX. The memorial # is 33977679. The dates on the headstone (1835 - 1913)do not match the memorial information (1877 - 1965). I'm thinking there is perhaps more than one J.T. Poe buried there but I don't know for sure. Can you shed any light on this situation? Thanks.. Mary

J. Ziggy:

Thank you for the updated information. I also have that she was born in Big Elk, Colorado and passed at Lovely, Colorado at Pathways Hospice.

I was unable to find her in any census records, but with the new information on her father's name, perhaps I will be able to.

thank you again,

RE: McWhorter Family
That would be great if you would transfer the management of the McWhorter's to me, some people are rather touchy about that so I didn't ask. Bill McWhorter, the last serviving child of William and Cora is just starting to work on Geneology. I'm trying to get some preliminary stuff done for him on here.
Thanks again,
Cheryl Owens

RE: Rosa Commander
Thanks for the transfer. The information I have about the Commanders came via letters from Valaree and her sister, Rosa. I, too, have Penny Sawyer based on not much info, except the Sawyer is on Rosa's DC as her mother's maiden name. Try as I might, I can't find anything else. I do have more on Joe thanks to Valaree and Rosa, but their information was given to them orally by their father, my great Uncle Boyd (I never met him) growing up. Boyd was not a fan of his father's!

I will keep looking because there has to be something surely! I am not surprised to not find Rosa and her girls though until 1910 and later based on their life style. When I get into my stored photos I will post one of Rosa Commander surrounded by her girls on

Is Valaree still living? I keep meaning to write, but time gets away from me as I march down that road paved with good intentions.
