Barnett Cem DeWitt Co., Illinois. I noticed you took a photo mof the Cem and of created some of the memorials in that Cem. The Cem is actually closer to Hallsville than Clinton.

Barnett Cem was added to Find A Grave in 2008 so the one in 2012 should be removed...just muddies up the waters.

|SLGMSD||Dr Henry Elmo Keyes|
I have transcribed the newspaper article and added it to the bio section. If you have the name and date of the newspaper I would like to add that information also. I have done some hyperlinking within the article. However, I may have the incorrect Dr. Edward L. Keyes Jr., who is referred to in the article as a half-brother. If Henry's father was Erasmus Darwin Keyes it does not seem likely that the Jr. would be an Erasmus rather than an Edward.
I have noted the other error you found in the news article.

|Dee Billings-Gonzales||FRANKLIN BURNETT|
Hi...you wrote this to me a few months ago. I have been seriously ill & have gotten way behind on my emails.
"Hi, do you know if there is a record of this burial somewhere. Might the death year be 1871 instead of 1811? I think this must be my ancestor Franklin Barnett. He died in Fort Scott in 1871. Do you know if this cemetery keeps burial records?"
You can check with the cemetery. I don't know anything more than what is on the memorials. Sorry, wish I could help.

I was able to add the birth location. However, the Find A Grave system did not recognize Crooked Creek to be in Bollinger County. The county utility finder pulled it up as Shelby County.
I know that there is/was a Crooked Creek community in Bollinger county, so I left the city blank.
Thank you for the information you provided.

I have happily transferred those memorials over to you to tend to with love!
When you request transfers in the future I suggest that you use the SAC option so that the creator does not have to go searching for numbers and such. It makes it much easier!
Enjoy your memorials!

|pjk999pjk||RE: Eliza T. King|
Thanks for your kind words. I checked the burial book, and lists the following plot locations:
Robert King: South Half, Seventh Row, Plot 28
Eliza King: South Half, Seventh Row, Plot 29
I've sent a correction to the holder of the King memorials.
Talberts are listed as follows:
James: South Half, Eighth Row, Plot 28
Unknown Talbert (wife of James): South Half, Eighth Row, Plot 25
Eliza: South Half, Eighth Row, Plot 24
Yes it appears that the Talberts were listed in front (west) of the Kings. If you need to know, Mary Street is buried in Plot 26, and Nancy Blair is in Plot 27, between James and James wife.
The burial book does not list the first name of James Talbert's wife.
Have a good Thanksgiving, and thanks for your post.
