I searched the Jingo cemetery for this grave and did not find a stone. There are several stones that are unreadable.

I am a Minhinnick by birth, but my grandmother was Ellen Johanna Vollan who married Ernest Lillian Minhinnick, her sister was Mabel Vollan Hicks aka my great aunt. I remember Mabel for her Prune cake recipe and I have it in my recipe box to this day. I know Mabel is related to you as I saw it on a posting as I was looking at my great grandfathers' grave in Churchbridge - WH Minhinnick. I will take a look and see what family information I have on Aunt Mabel. Deb

Thanks for making the corrections to the Christopher Avery Cemetery. Unfortunately, I think one of your Doud's came back. Can you delete Eunice #114518450.
Added by WMitch6 on Nov 25, 2013 5:00 PM
I believe I found your Doud family. They are in the MacDonough Cemetery in Middletown CT. That cemetery is also known as the Riverside cemetery. There you will find 2 Jacobs, 2 Elizabeths, Eunice and another dozen or so family members. That is what Hale transcribed. Not all are listed on the Find A Grave page for the Riverside Cemetery.
If you have access to Ancestry.com you can find them in Volume 28 of the Hale Collection. The page is index 373 of 651. There are also a dozen or so Dowds interred there. I don't know if they are the same family.
In any case, there are no Douds in the Christopher Avery Cemetery. I am 100% certain of that. Could you please remove their memorials.

I saw your photo request for several members of the Doud family. I do not believe that they are buried in this cemetery (Hale #28). Is it possible that they are buried in a different Avery cemetery? There are at least 4 in Ledyard and a couple more in the county.
This is a small, well documented ancient cemetery. All of the inscribed headstones have been photographed. If the Douds are buried here there are no headstones.

We are very glad that you were blessed by these photos. You must live far away from Churchbridge. It was a pleasure to do this for you.

DO you have a copy of her obit. I have the latest cemetery book and I do not find her listed. Nor do I find her spouse in this cemetery. It could be that she in an unmarked. Her Missouri D/C does not state this cemetery. In fact it only states "local" and there are 5 cemeteries in this town. I have checked several 3 of them and have not found her. Please let me know if you have an actual obit.

I tried to read all the urns in her area but it is an extremely dark corner. While processing random photos I took of the wall, I just discovered her location. The picture isn't the best but I have it posted.
Sorry for the mix up.

I walked part of the East Germantown Cmetery today and located one set of Marlatt headstones. I will post those. I will go another day and see if I can find Eliza's headstone.

I have not been to the East Cemetery to look for her headstone, but do have info for you.
She was the daughter of John Henry Strock and Catherine Rice Strock.
The memorial #'s for the parents were given to me by a family member who is doing the genealogy of the Strock family. The parents are buried in Old North Cemetery, Canfield, Ohio.
I also located her pedigree on familysearch.org...She married George Peterman in Newton Falls, 1829. Her birth date is listed as Sept. 9, 1806.
They had three sons, Isaac, Andrew and William.

I am familiar with the Temple monuments in Forest Hill Cemetery, Dunn County, Wisconsin. Susanah (Susan) and sons William, James, and Isaac are there. There is no record of a marker for Albert and he does not appear in the Dunn County Cemetery index. Would he have been moved there later? His death in 1858 would pre-date the establishment of Forest Hill. I'd like to help you find him, but it does not look very promising.

The Newton Falls West Cemetery was not established until 1904, do not believe Elizabeth Peterman is buried here.
Could be in the Newton Falls East Cemetery.

Hi! I am the person who took the photo of Nancy Crull's headstone. I just wanted to let you know that there is not a headstone on either side of hers. If Henry is buried with her, either his headstone was destroyed or one was never erected for him. I am sorry!
