Thank you very much for updating their memorials and also for creating them. I was sure that they were buried in Elkhart County but when I visited some years ago I didn't find them. This is a great help to me.

I saw the problem reported that she couldn't be located so I searched for her obit and checked the index that was transcribed in the 80's. She wasn't listed in the index but her obit says she is in Massillon Cemetery. It may be possible that the stone is missing or illegible or perhaps there never was one. Or that they just couldn't find the records. Anyways I posted the obit for you. Hopefully someone locates her for you.

The woman in the cemetery office does her absolute best with what she has to work with. However I get the feeling that this cemetery is poorly organized. I'm not sure about your Mendleins - maybe they are there and maybe not; that's why I didn't remove your request. I still have hope that something will turn up - I don't give up easily.
Other cemeteries nearby are: Oakwood, which I believe is connected to Mass City, and St Josephs Cemetery is across the street.
I notice you have another request, Schworm, and I haven't inquired yet about that one. I'm trying to go through the requests a few at a time.

Please cancel my request for George Bennett Jr. My aunt sent me a picture and the information needed. I will wait to post in case you already have gone to the trouble of going out to the cemetery. Sorry.

Karen, You have a memorial for Vera A Fontaine #111003614. Can you tell me if a husband George E. is buried with her. I suspect that Vera is the daughter of Tilitha Stewart Peabody and Elmer Peabody who are both buried at Rice. Not sure of all this because her headstone birth date is off and I am not sure of her death date. Any help in checking on George would be greatly appreciated. Jim

I appreciate all the work you have done, and will try to be a strong contributor to the effort here. Do not hesitate to offer suggestions as you are a pro at this already!
