I took photos of his grave site, but please note that there is no grave marker there. I used flowers to mark the position of the grave in the photos.

RE: Elon Greenman
Hi Lorraine, 4 Photos have been posted. I am reasonably sure that is his marker. It appears that someone has reset her marker in a new footing at some time, to bad they didn't do his also. Take Care, Chuck Brandon #48002728.

Elon Greenman
Hi Lorraine, I wandered around South Center Eaton (Long) Cemetery again and I have photos of what I believe to be Elon Greenman's Marker. It is next to his wife's, however it is broken and flat on the ground. It is the same style as hers, but I can't read it. Would you like me to post them ? I will delete them if you don't like them. Let me know. Take Care, Chuck Brandon #48002728.

Two Ruth Carpenter's
Hi
I have done more research on the two Ruth Carpenters's in Bellevue Cemetery. First the 8 years old, I have asked the photo to removed.

Second, I added a memorial for the other Ruth Carpenter wife J.W Carpenter and added information for her.

I will request a photo as soon as I can [my limit is up], or you may do that also.

If any of these two Ruth Carpenter's are your family you are more than welcome to manage if you like.

Thank you

Farmyard Cemetery - Greenman
Hi,

I photographed what monuments are still present at this cemetery. It is very small and located on a friends farm. There are no unphotographed stones there. Sorry.

Alvin L and Ettie L Rial
Hi Lorraine, I have pictures of both of these headstones for you. I wondered if you wanted to add Alvin's Memorial (1854 - 1935) so you can manage and link his and Ettie's. Also I have a picture that shows... Alvin, Ettie, Helena, Glen and Glen Jr's headstones all in one shot, if you are interested in it. Just took the pictures today. I have to resize them before I can upload. Let me know.

photo request
I plan to start on the photo requests at Rest Haven Cemetery.

However this cemetery is very large and there are almost 100 photo requests. It would really help if you would contacted the cemetery office for the location. Then add it to the memorial (under "plot"). If it is not your memorial, please contact the owner, by using the "edit" button and ask them to enter the burial location information into the memorial. THANK YOU!!!

Hi Lorraine,

Sorry it's taken me a while to get back to you. Here's a link that will hopefully help you locate Freeport Cemetery:

Let me know if that helps,

RE: Estella Greenman
Hi Lorraine,

All of our records show that she was 39 years old when she died... same as the obit. As far as the stone goes, I can only guess.
I did go out and check it and that is definitely her stone. My guess is that whoever the family member was that ordered it didn't know the correct birth year. And once the stone is cut you are stuck with it if you gave the wrong information.

Hi Lorraine,

I really don't know anything about him, I was just going to go out to the cemetery and take some pic's to answer some requests. But when I checked Find A Grave I found that the picture is already posted. It's Find A Grave Memorial# 38844126. Good luck with your search!

Hi Lorraine, check the Rose Cemetery list, there are two Walter Carlton's, same dob and dod, one has a photo and one does not. This is possible the same person, if so, the photo is out there.

RE: Robert Mousseau
Thank you so much. I don't know how to find out if the cemeteries kept documentation on burials from that time.

This is a great help

RE: Robert Mousseau
Hi Lorraine,

Thank you for looking, but I think that someone else has looked at Whitney and discovered that there are no headstones for Robert, Cyrena or Gladys there. But, there are empty spaces near other Ward graves.

It's hard to explain but this is what I found out. Gladys died first and on the Cook County death certificate the cemetery was listed as "Wasco, Illinois". In Cook County the register would list the specific cemetery name, but this lists simply Wasco. I have determined that "Wasco" is Whitney.

Next Robert died, I cannot find his death certificate but from census records and city directories it was before Cyrena. Cyrena had deep roots in Kane County so I thought that she would bury her husband next to her daughter. However, Robert was Catholic and his close relatives are buried in Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Cook County. I put a headstone request there for him as well, perhaps I should take it down?

Next Cyrena died and on her death certificate again said "Wasco".

Knowing my family it would be unlikely they were buried without headstones unless there was a financial burden at the time.

Thanks for looking hope this helps

Laura

Hello,

I am looking for headstones for the family of Robert Mousseau and your name was passed on to me saying that you also are requesting photos of Robert Mousseau's headstone.

Can you tell me if this is true.

Thank you

Hi Lorraine,

The only source I can find on Estella says that she was born September 1876 in Eaton County, MI and that she died in Bellevue, Eaton, MI. That was on Ancestry.com.

I saw that you know who her parents were and that you've made the memorials in Bellevue Cemetery here in Michigan.

I'll let you know if I can find anything else.

RE: David Mahon
Hi Lorraine,

I've posted his obit on his memorial and filled in the dates, etc. as best I could.

He was born February 20, 1877 in Belfast, Ireland. (The memorial has no county listing for Belfast so I couldn't add it there. It is listed in the obit though). And the obit does list his parent's names.

I'm still looking for Estella.
