Parker Cemetery/Mansfield, CT
Hello Laura: Thanks for adding the 4 Parkers to the Parker I'm wondering if you visited the cemetery in person & if there are gravestones? I understand it's out in the puckerbrush!! Zachariah Parker's father was Zachariah Parker 1698-1793 & his mother was Rebeckah Parker, b. 1707. Zachariah's (the elder) father was Eleazer Parker 1660-1704 & his mother was Mehitable Parker, b. 1668. Several times, I have looked in the burial records of Mansfield & surrounding towns & can't find them. The only ones listed in town records are the four you entered on F/G. So, did you go there & find perhaps illegible gravestones? Thanks for what you do for F/G!! Ancestry research is like being a detective sometimes. Best, Nancy

Yes...please add it if you would.

Let me check on the obit, I am working with a cousin, and sometimes things get stuck away in boxes.

He has a good amount of the documentation.

Theophhilus Hall & family links
Hi Laura,
Just wanted to confirm some 'links' to family.

My 4th Great-Grandfather Theophilus Hall, husband of Anna Barrows - parents are Isaac Hall (1730-1757) and Abigail Swift (1730-1803)
I've linked him to Abigail Swift and made a note that Zachariah Parker is his step-father.

thanks! - Linda

Parker Cemetery
I was very interested to come across the mention of the Parker Cemetery in Tolland County, CT. I was born and raised in CT and my great grandmother's name was Victoria Parker. I have been working on my family tree for about 10 years and there are, I believe, several hundred Parkers who should be in it.

You may have solved a mystery that's been bothering me for a long time. Many years ago my father's (John Mitchell) brother (Charles Mitchell) showed my dad a picture that he said he had just taken at the "Gurleyville Cemetery". I remembered this when I started working on my tree, but I was never able to find anyone in any Gurleyville cemetery that I recognized. I never saw the picture - I was too young to care - but I think that he may have been in the Parker Cemetery.

I am very curious about the Parker Cemetery: are there any gravestones there? Sorry to say I live in GA now but if there's anything to see maybe I can drag my husband on our next trip up north to take a look.

Thanks for supplying me with the info!

If you put in Henry's name and fill in his dates and just put Marrila as his wife, it will bring up 3 for you. Thank you for Marrilla's madien name.

Charles Berndt at Pilgrims Rest
Please see below for the link to the cemetery records. Online at Pilgrim's Rest, there is one Charles Berndt listed (1887-1976) who is interred in Section 1, Block 3, Lot 47W2. I find no Charles Berndt listed with the birth and death dates that you have on your memorial. If the office is confirming a Charles that matches your dates, they are not on the data base they provide.

My husband's great grandmother was Elizabeth Augusta (Gussie) Bartle Berryman. Daughter of Nannie T. I don't have much information on Grenfell. I have information on Bartle's to 1665.
Yes would be interested in Pasco marker.

Richard and Emma Sheckells
Hello Laura,

Per your requests I have posted the grave marker photo for you for Richard and Emma Sheckells.

Thank you for the information and family connections for them. I have added it to their memorials.

You said that a photo was included with Emma's newspaper article. I could not add it because I do not have that paper.

Per your requests I have transferred them both to you.

You were asking if I had additional information for them. I found a couple more articles for Emma and I have added them to her memorial.

RE: Faull
I just returned from a visit to Linden. Took many tombstone photos to post. How are you related to Clarion Faull? I went to a family reunion and saw photos of my Aunt Darlene Hudak Roberts in a band with Clarion. I did not know she was in a band and played the piano.
