RE: Berry Cemetery, Toledo, IL
I entered from a cemetery reading that was done back in the 70's. If he died after that, I would not have had the information. I am sure the military records are correct so you should probably go ahead and enter it. Kay

RE: Danielson graves
Hi Lora - regarding Raymond Lawrence Danielson (#95227872) and Bernadine Marie Hochwalt Danielson (#95227806) there is a burial marker with both there names on it. I saw the picture of the marker on the "Beckman - Danielson Tree" on Ancestry.com. However, I don't know when the picture was taken as the year (2003) Bernadine passed is not on the marker, but there was 18 years between their passing. All that being said there is a possibility Bernadine may have been cremated also.

RE: Luther Tedford
Luther was my grandfather Ernest's brother. The older woman in the picture is his sister-in-law. Ernest died when my mother was 16.
Grandma (Teresa Young) then married Roy Burnell.
The older girl is my sister Janet and the younger one is Alice. I took the picture.

RE: Luther Tedford
I have no idea who the woman is. It's probably a neighbor because she was there when we arrived.

RE: Umberhocker memorials
Sorry, I have no info on either of the Umberhocker's. Many times if I see a memorial that does not have flowers attached as I am paying my respects to someone else in that cemetery, I will also add some flowers to that grave and that must have been the case with the Umberhocker memorials.
Good Luck with your research.

RE: Sarah Hume Trowbridge
Thank you!

Sarah's sister, Lucretia, is my 2nd Great-Grandmother: Lucretia Hume Carpenter. The family of Lewis Hume moved over to Sullivan Co. from KY and then up to Rush County, IN -- where they entwined with Carpenter & Machlan families; then some removed to Jasper & Coles Counties, IL and Walworth & Rock County, WI. My 2nd great-grandparents moved from Rush to Walworth Co.

I'm happy to share any info I have, if your Hume friend would like to connect.

Thank you! Jackson is a purebred Border Collie and 13.5 years old. We lost our older dog back in 2008 at 14 and Jackson now shares his home with a younger, female FCR/Schipperke mix. She's such a little beast! We want to spend as much quality time as we can with Jackson, and then commit to fostering for one of the local shelters/rescue in the future.

By chance, is any of your Leffler family up northern IL (mainly Winnebago Co.)? My Leffler (Loeffler) family came from Luisenstadt, Berlin Stadt, Brandenburg, Preussen.

Donna Lupton
RE: Swingle surname
I found Solomon Swingle buried at Stewardson Cemetery his dates show 1825-1912. Margaret E. his wife is also buried there. Margaret dates are 1838-1924. Those dates are on the stone. Also I found approximately 23 burials of the Swingle name buried at St. Michael Cemetery in Sigel, Illinois. Too numerous to mention.
