|Tom Black||RE: re: John Killmer #67897804|
Hi Rhonda, I'm glad you contacted me. I am not related to John Killmer and will be very happy to transfer his memorial to you. It is always nice to be able to return a memorial over to family.

I invited you to be a contributor to my tree. I have had my DNA tested, my husband has not as yet. His son just had his done, so I'm hoping to see some family through that. I am surprised we haven't been matched on the DNA....I'm going to go through the matches again and look for you.

One more thing, can you tell me how the Zellers I photographed are related? Do you have a tree I can view?
Added by kstouffer on May 22, 2015 7:38 PM
In checking your names, my husband Carl is definitely related to you through the Zellers. If you send me your email, I can send you an invitation to view my tree on Ancestry. I will start looking for the Zellers on my next trip to PA (next year).

I'm starting to think you're related to my husband who also has a connection to Ft. Zeller. His 7th great grandfather was Jacques Zeller who died on te way to America. His wife Clothilde de Valois was the mother of Hans Heinrich Zeller. I have not been to Ft. Zeller, but have that on my list to do. Didn't realize the Zellers I photographed could be related. Will keep an eye open for the rest. Will invite you to view my tree....

Hope you are doing better...sorry to hear about your accident. The cemetery that these tombstones are in was a church, then a private home, now a church again. Some of the tombstones are in sad shape...I hope they continue to try to restore the cemetery. Let me know if you have anyone else in the Lebanon Co. area,we visit Pa on a regular basis.

Dear Rhonda - I am so sorry that you have to go through all this medical care for your concussion. Let me know what the neurologist says. I will be praying for you. You take care and don't get discouraged. You WILL be well again and soon.

Dear Rhonda - So good to hear from you again. Thank you so much for transferring Clarence and my dad's for me to sponsor!! That was so kind of you. I know you spent a lot of time working on a lot of our relatives.
I have more pictures to add to dad's page and other pages, but it won't allow you to add more than 4 w/o paying.
I know there are a lot more pictures in my mom's album. There is an 8 X 10 picture of Ida with the locket that I have and have polished it up. Looking for a very dainty chain. She is so beautiful in the picture. I'll see if mom will let me bring the thick album of old pictures to my home to scan.
Take care - Jan

Dear Rhonda: I have some other photos to add to my dad's photo page. If possible, could we delete the photo of his grave stone marker. I have a much better picture I would like to post. I don't know how to remove the current one. Can you help me?
Thanks!! - Jan

Rhonda - I did not find out that Orville was my father's biological dad. Orville and Pauline Kerschner had three sons: Robert (not my dad); Don; and Tom.
Getting ready to post some pictures. I thought I had some of the old ones, but I left them at mom's.

Dear Rhonda - I took the 14 day trial with ancestry.com. I stayed up until 6 am working on getting a lot of info. Started working on my mother's side of the family as well.
You have done a lot of work. Thank you.
Hope to post some pictures this week. I thought on ancestry.com you could print birth certificates and death certificates. Again, you have to pay for all that.
Tresca was Paulines first and in some cases her middle name.
I will get back to you soon!! This is addicting and so interesting. I have to go to mom's to see what pictures she has. I have a lot of pictures as well to post.
Take care - Janis

Rhonda, I have ordered several more of these very old obits for this GUNCKEL family and will share them when I get them transcribed. I love these old obits since they tell all about these pioneer families.
