I got thev picture that you requested. I have never gotten a good picture of a stone like that one. I think it is the colors, it is also very hard to read. I took several pictures and uploaded the best two.
I hope you can use them.
Thanks,
Tim

Brandy Phillips headstone
Thank you so much for this, it means the world to my husband. We have been out there a few times and could never find it and ran out of time before we had to leave. Now this will give him some peace of mind, and will most certainly help us the next time we can make it up there. Bless you for what you do, our hearts are filled with joy today knowing that she has not been forgotten!

Kindest regards,
Marcie Phillips

Nan Earthman Cotten
Let's try this again, LOL...

Tina,
Thank you SO much for the wonderful photo of my ancestors' markers.

Do you remember who the other Cotten markers were that were next to Nan?
I know in my Family records, her name was Nannie Kate, but when I spoke to her Niece (my Great-Aunt Dot, who is 95) she said that they always called her Aunt Nan.

No rush at all...but I would LOVE photos of all the Watsons. I am sure in such a small town that they are all our relatives!
Thanks a million.

Dear Tina - The really interesting part of this genealogy/grave search stuff is finding the grave stones still legible. Samuel Coleman Watson had two wives named Martha -- but I was able, obviously, to find which one was which by dates of death. Thanks again. I live in the Santa Barbara/Los Angeles area...if you need any help from this neck of the woods...let me know!

They could also be spelled as Hoyle as well as Hoyl. I know that death certs aren't always accurate, but, both of theirs specifically say Cannon Cem and they died 18 years apart from each other. Their sons, Edgar, Lewis, & Willie are all buried there as well. Both Edgar & Willie's headstones have been there since approx. 1897, so, I'm assuming that Felix and Mary Alice are buried by their children.
