I have transferred her to you. I give more credit to the date carved on the marker than the census, because the person giving the info on the census may not be that close. I saw one census where a neighbor gave all the info on 6 different families not related to him. Lazy census taker?? Could be.

re: William Hubler and wife
Hi Carol, I have transferred William and his wife to you. I am not related. The reason I took an interest in them is that my grandfather may have been the father of their daughter, Marry's child. I stumbled upon the name Thelma Derringer, born to Mary Hubler on October 21, 1910 and the father is named as Arthur Derringer. She lived in Miamisburg, as did my Grandfather. The baby unfortunately died On December 26, 1910 and apparently is buried in the same cemetery as William and his wife. I have requested a photo, but no one has found it and taken it. Do you live near this cemetery? Do you know anything about this baby? Read the Ohio Certificate of Thelma's Death. It is sad and I would appreciate any more info. if you have it. Also what happened to Marry? I have a little more info. I can tell you why it could be true. Thanks for any help you can give me.

Dayton National Cemetery
I look at your list and I see that you have several people buried at the Dayton National Cemetery. John & Elsie Jones....my Mother and Father are there also. My Mother just passed away in Feb. and will be buried with my Dad. I'm going over there very soon to view the headstone. I will take a photo of John H.Jones & wife if you want to include that on your page for them.

I didn't realize that you already had a photo. It was still listed as a request. This little cemetery is right down the street and I had a good time walking in the sunshine.

RE: John/Johannes Shade
I am going to send you a link to my ancestry tree that has some Shades in it. I did photograph all of Hillgrove cemetery in Miamisburg and the pics are all online. That is where a lot of stones were moved to from other old cemeteries in Miamisburg. There was more than one. I also photographed other cemeteries completely. I live here in Montgomery County and would be happy to help you. There could be obituaries that could help. The old newspapers are on microfilm.

RE: Grace M. Skinner
Aww, I wish I did! Unfortunately, I upload local cemetery registers for this area, and have no familial connections to most of the people that are on those lists. If I can offer assistance in some other way, please let me know. I have links for many local genealogy sites if that would help.

Lally family
Hello Carol,
The photo I posted is the one I was referring to, I may have said Frank, not Ed in my posting, but it is the same photo.

I believe all the people in the photo may be related; Ann Lally's maiden name was Smith, and Mame Burns' maiden name was Lally. However, I'm not sure where Clarence Woggett and son fit in. The information I posted on Findagrave came from either (stjoenew.com) or from (familysearch.org) I posted, hoping someone was looking for this family and would like seeing the photo. It wasn't doing anyone any good buried in an album.

If your family came from Maysville, have you checked Kentuckiana Digital Library,
(http://kdl.kyvl.org/newspapers.html)? It has papers from the early 1880s to about 1915.
Not only Maysville area stories but occasionally Cincinnati area stories, especially if it concerns people that once lived in Maysville area.

As before if you find that connection, or want any of the Lally family transferred to you, let me know.

Good luck in you search,
Joelyn

Lally family
Hello Carol,
I'm not related to the Lally or Burns family,
as far as I know. I was scanning some old family photos and this was one of the few I had that was marked. Thinking there might be a family connection, I stated looking for some information. I never found a connection, but decided to post the photo on findagrave hoping someone would be looking for information and would like seeing the photo. If you haven's seen the photo, it's posted under Frank Lally and Mary Lally Burns. I believe the information I posted is correct, but if you know something different, let me know. Also, if you would like a transfer of anyone I have posted, let me know (it doesn't have to be within findagrave "guidelines").

I'm researching the Driscoll & McClelland families, originally from Maysville, KY, then moved to Cincinnati. If you know a connection, I would be glad to exchange information. One surname I did see that may be connected to the Driscoll's was "Burke." But I haven't made a definite connection there either.
