John E Riley headstone
Thank you Vicki! I'm delighted to see your perfect photo of John's headstone. I was hoping his middle name was spelled out to confirm the spelling, but alas, it was only the initial. Records show it was "Enick" but historically other related Riley's have the traditional spelling of "Enoch". Also glad to see his wife's first name spelled Lura not Laura. Your efforts are very much appreciated!
Regards, Patricia

Thank you, Vicki! If your friend would like to make contact with another Houston descendant (who has done a lot of research), let me know, and we can correspond directly. I'd love to meet another Houston cousin.

George Blackburn and Lemanda (Monday) Houston
Hi Vicki -
Have you seen grave markers for these two people (my g-g-grandparents)? I was under the impression that Highland Cem., Wichita, was the only one old enough to have received George B. in 1871, and had not heard that Lemanda's interment in Chase Co. had been found. Should I request photos, or have you already done that? And are we cousins?

Yes there is a separate marker next to hers for the DAR membership. I put up a picture of both so you can see them together and I also put up a picture of that marker & played with the coloring etc a bit so it is more readable. Hope this helps.

RE: Walter Stenske
Not related, I'll do some research and try to photograph family members and occasionally create a memorial if I photograph a stone with no memorial, some times submit edits.

Vicky, thank you for yur work and dedication also. We do not live near the Rose Hill Cemetery and do not have access to the plot numbers. Contributor # 46814593 has and is doing extensive research on this cemetery and others. Perhaps he could give you the info you want. Thank you, Marietta Miller

RE: Cashler Union Cemetery
Hi Vicki,
You will have to contact Find-A-Grave forum "Cemetery Corrections" and just explain what happened. They will have to delete the cemetery.

Cashler Union Cemetery
Hello Vicki,
I was going through and adding items to Seward county cemeteries and noticed that Cashler Union was listed in Seward. I am sorry to say it is officially in York County. It sits on the west side of Road X which is York. This cemetery has already been recorded and is listed in York County cemeteries as "Cashler" cemetery by another member. This will need to be deleted so as not to confuse people trying to find information on it and/or locate the cemetery.

Thanks for your help,
Barb (weston04)

Scarrow Children
Thank you so much for adding the note to their memorials. It was a very sad story that I ran across today. I'm researching my Nerren family and the Pastor driving the bus was Thomas Nerren. He died along with his wife and one of their two sons. I'm still looking to see if there is a family connection to him but I haven't found one yet.

Thanks again,

Thank you for the nice headstone photo for Rose and Elmer. They share the same headstone, but their plot numbers are different; one was #646 and the other was #746. Do you remember which was correct? One must be a typo.
