Ann Barbara Eichbauer-Ender
Hi John. I have a question about Ann Barbara Eichenbauer-Ender is you know about her background. In the 1880 Monroe Census there is a Peter Besier living with the family and the census lists him as John Ender's father-in-law; which means that Mr. Besier is John's wife's father. But it appears that her maiden name was Eichbauer. Right? or is there another connection?

Thanks for any light you may be able to shed on this ...

Hello John...
I did not see the second email til I had emailed a response to you for the bounced one.
Outlook Express is rather pathetic.
So, I always tell people to send to my site, if they can't get through otherwise...LAYNALAND@YAHOOGROUPS.COM

I would very much like to see what you have for me...thankyou.

There is additional information on his family under the grave photo. I don't know if it's of interest to you, or if he is your relative. If you want to use the information for his bio, let me know so I can delete the photo caption. Thanks.

Simon, John & Mary
You requested a photo of Mary L. Simon at Calvary which I posted. You then created a memorial for her husband John E. and posted my image as posted by you. You might think it is a small thing and I suppose it is. But the grave was almost covered over and I spent at least a half hour cutting away grass and created a nice edge and washed the stone with distilled water and dried with a soft cloth before shooting the image. I take great pride in posting the best image I can get for people. It is hurtful that you didn't take a moment to get my permission or at least tell me that you used the image without credit to the person who took the time to take it.

Almon & Caroline Rosekrans
Hi John,

I'm a little confused because you have created two memorials for each of these people. I've attached their daughter Maggie to the one created last, because I didn't realize until afterwards that there were two each for Almon & Caroline. If you could delete one of each (Find A Grave frowns on duplicate memorials) and let me know if I need to reattach Maggie, I'd be very grateful.

Thank you for your time,

Jankowski Photo Requests
Frances Jankowski is my GGG grandmother. I have some information on her. In our genealogy research we believe that her husband never came over. He died in Poland. Frances immigrated
24 Apr 1885 from Liverpool, England on the Lord Clive. She immigrated with Stanslaw and Stephan.

There is another John Jankowski who died in 1919 and is buried in Mt. Carmel Cemetery but is from another Jankowski family. He was born about 1935 in Poland. His wife was Magdalena Wesolowska. I have not tried to see if they are related. I do a photo of his grave. His family told me he was a widow when he came over.

There is at least one more John Jankowski who died in Wisconsin.

Frances is buried in the same plot along with son's family. Stanislaus Jankowski 1862 - 1903 and Leokadya Lydia "Nora" Pruski 1870 - 1932. I have taken photos of Helen, Nicholas Joseph, Nicholas (Yes 2) and a full plot photo. There is lots of space around her marker so maybe there are some buried there without gravestones.

I also have the photo of Louise Jankowski Zatarga -- she is my gg grandmother 1847 - 1919.

I do not have photos of the following but are Frances' children:

Antoinette Jankowski Zawacki 1850 - 1938, Andrew Jankowski 1855 - 1930, Rosalie Jankowski Mikula 1859 - 1935, Francis Jankowski Jaloszyanski 1850 - 1935 I believe all died and are buried at Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Manistee, MI. Stephan Jankowski 1867 - 1957 died in Maple City, MI.

I do have the other two people in my family tree that you requested photos of but I do not have gravestones for them.

If you would like more information on this family please feel free to contact me.

Recently we took some photos of the Horns for you. Guess it would be nice that you were aware of them and they were the ones you wanted.

Mr. Chmiko,

I could not find Arthur's grave, but I did take a picture of all the Enders I found in the cemetery. Let me know if you want them and I can email them to you.

Yes the ground has become very soft here in days. We had close to 70 and snow melted fast. I will try to remember your request and if I don't send me another message with what I can use on a stone to wash it and I'd be more than happy. This does look like a very old and very remote cemetery. If the road was named for the Honerts then he must have had an important position or it just was named for them being the first residents on that road.

Minnie Smith
Minnie Smith married Daniel Delbert Honert on August 26, 1896 in Ortonville, MI. I found this information through Family Daniel Delbert Honert was bor Nov 28,1874 in Groveland, MI. I still can not find a burial place for them. I am trying to find my charger for my camera so I can get over to Eaton Cemetery. If I don't perhaps someone else will get to it.

Brett Stockhill
William Warner Carter
according to Ed Houghtaling's list, William Carter is not at Mt. Hope (although list isn't 100%, been good for me so far). But, per your note being married to Elizabeth Helm, I see:

Helm, Elizabeth, b. 1857, d. 19--, "his wife", Sec Q
Helm, William, b. 1857, d. 1922, Sec Q

but the dates don't match the memorial for him on this site.

There are several other Carters in a couple of different sections. If you feel this is in error, you might call the City of Lansing and verify section and interment.

Post a carification and I may be able to put it on my todo list.

No problem John. I saw several other Smiths, but I don't think any of them were the names you mentioned. I saw: Floyd C & Elsie L. Smith; Bert M. and Grace N. Smith; Monroe & Clara Smith; and George E. & Florence J. Smith

I took pics of the above 4 stones just in case they were something you wanted. Please let me know in the next couple of days if you want them.

Take care.

grave in Maple Ridge is unmarked, but Delhi Township (Holt) records do confirm he is buried there.
I have photos of two Woodman graves (much older) in a nearby Holt cemetery, Markham. Not sure if they are related. Let me know if you want them. One is too worn to read, the other is a Baby Bernadine Woodman.
