|Connie McBride Davis||Memorial #123036905|
We have communicated before about Rosa Webb McBride. I happened to come across the marriage record of Rosa and Henry Thomas McBride. They were married 6-19-1879 in Camp County, Texas. That is one county over from Wood County.

Have transfered Matt Webb. He is not a part of my family, and thought you might want his memorial. Billie Greene

Neither I nor Larry Scott could locate an obit for Edward "Edd" Webb ... it was worth a shot.

Miss Mary Webb was the informant on Elmore Brown's d/c.
His wife, is listed as Maggie Webb Brown... has to be wrong.
Now... can you get Ann to transfer to you so you can make an explanation. She's more likely to transfer to you because of your surname.

I was JUST working on that Maggie Brown... I believe she is listed as Maggie Webb Brown incorrectly! If this is our girl, she was the 2nd wife of Elmore Brown. I have already requested
that they be linked... one problem, she is listed as Maggie Webb on her husband's death certificate.
In 1935, according to the 1940 Census, she was living in Barnwell County... that has to be her! Don't you think?
Her parents are not listed on her death certificate either.. yuck.

|Fran Bundy||White Pond Cemetery|
Not confusing one bit! White Pond is just on the county line and has confused many researchers. Your clarification is perfect.
OH... I did see Julius Porter's obit and Maggie Brown, his sister, was alive at the time of his death and living in Columbia, SC. I tried tracking her down after I found this information, thought I located her death certificate... and it was the wrong Maggie Brown.
Back to the drawing board... we WILL find her, Bob.
Ain't it fun? :)

Bob... a negative for me locating anything on her. Working on BROWN is almost as easy as working on SMITH. :)
You really do superior work on Findagrave! Thanks again.

Thanks. I knew there were two cemeteries with similar names. I read somewhere that Floyd was buried in League City. I have corrected the information. Thanks for taking the photo!! Very much appreciated.

|Courtney Jones||RE: WEBB Twins|
Thanks very much for letting me know! I debated if that might be the case, but figured I'd let you know since there could have been a chance it was the same person since the death date was so close.

|AMB||Richard Grady Weil|
Regarding Richard Grady WEIL,
Since his memorial was transferred to you and since you have only a small number of memorials, I'm going to guess that you knew Mr. Weil personally.
If I have the correct Mr. Weil, he and I were distant cousins. I bumped into his findagrave memorial as I was trying to clear something on his ancestry.
Please contact me if you knew Mr. Weil personally, so that I can try to determine if it is the same person. My email address (with some crippling):

|Ella Faye Johnson||Thank You Transfer Message|
Thank you for adding another family link to that of descendants of Mary Mahala Buckelew Finley. With your transfer through Find A Grave for Ada Finley Ralston, mother of Pecos Uvalde Finley, the family circle is forming. She was the mother who refused to believe news from the U.S. War Department that Pecos was Missing in Action. He survived the Bataan Death March but died in a make shift Hospital. Plese accept my appreciation for the work you are doing in the Find A Grave program, whichis especially important to keeping family members together.

What a wonderful surprise! The Memorial for Robert Lee Finley adds another link in the family of a son and daughter born to Mary Buckelew Finley and Robert Lee Finley in Medina, Bandera Co. Texas. Thank you for requesting the Transfer of Robert Lee Finley husband of Mary Mahala Buckelew, my great grandmother. Bringing a family together through Find A Grave Memorials is heartwarming, a tribute that binds parents and children together for loved ones to Cherish through out many generations.
My deepest appreciation to you and to the Contributor who cared enough to transfer the Memorial of my granduncle to my care. Lee never knew that his son Pecos Uvalde Finley died in a Prison Camp in the Phillipine Islands during WWII. The Memorial Tribute in honor of Pecos Uvalde Finley is an outstanding part of the Finley family.
A family that Prays together, stays together even in death.
Thank You. Ella Faye Johnson, Contributor # 48230261

Bob, I really do not appreciate the note you sent me, it was very nasty. I am related and I do not have to explain my relationship to anyone. You are just angry that I made the memorial and you do not OWN it.
You kept mentioning my messages are disabled...it is because of people like you who think they are entitled and MUST have their way and leave nasty messages. Please leave me alone or I will contact Find A Grave for your continued harassment.

You are welcome Bob. There is nothing I'd rather do than to get family history and memorials back to their family.
If not for us, who will keep the history of our ancestors alive.
Best of luck in your family research,

I'll fill your request on our next dry day.

Bob, I have no connections to anyone in the Winnsboro Cemetery. If you will send me an edit asking for a transfer I'll give it to you.
Thanks for caring enough to keep the history of you and your wife's ancestors alive and growing.
Blessings from my home to yours!
