You got it. Thanks for the photo request. That was thoughtful. According to the Graceland Cemetery on line burial search data, Peter Quade died on 07/20/1948. Regards, Bob Lerch

It is in the history book our church pout together in 1987 four the 100th anniversary celebration. No clue who may have had the photo they copied...

I didn't find one either. I can't spend too much time on any one person or couple. I'm trying to get the entire cemetery in Find A Grave. I'm researching and adding about 170 memorials per week. In the past two years I've added over 13,000 memorials to Springdale Cemetery. That might sound good, but there are still about 32,000 more to go.

RE: Mankauskas photos
You are welcome! The date on the grave stone is 7/28/1915. I would suggest you contact the cemetery they do not like to make mistakes and are good about correcting proven mistakes.

Ok, I will look for them there. Should be by the end of the week.

RE: Buczkowski and Pietrzycki families
Ok. I will be going out there in the next couple of days. Perhaps the person who looked the name up for us mis-typed it. I do have locations for the other people you requested. If you want, when you find locations, redo the request, or you can leave me a public message.

Here is what I have in terms of Riverview Cemetery records:

'Richard' Lenglen interred in Block 23 Lot 28 (only Lenglen recorded in the cemetery)

William, Caroline, Elizabeth, and Henry Sommer are interred beside him in Block 23 Lot 28.

I will do my best to get out this week and photograph these markers for you.

Dear Jan, West Park Cemetery office has no record of burying Jasara. Is it possible her ashes were interned under one of her married names? Peace, Dan

RE: Pelagia "Pearl" Pietrzycki Buczkowski
Hi. :)

I seem to be bad luck for your family. :(

There was no stone for Mrs. Pelagia Buczkowski at Holy Cross Cemetery in Detroit.

I added a photo of her grave site.

Hopefully, the next time I fulfill one of your requests, we'll have better luck. :)

Wish I was closer to Streator ... Maybe if I take a trip to see my daughter when she goes back to school. Streator is not too far off the path between here and there! St. Louis wouldn't be too far to go for a burial in Campbell Hill, but Streator would have been really too far, I'm thinking. Pretty sure there was a train to/from St. Louis at that time that would have stopped in Campbell Hill, but not sure about the other direction. It has been raining non-stop here since Friday, all the creeks are full, streets are under water, my roof is leaking - but we're still not as bad off as Louisiana, I guess.

Good morning Jan! I stopped by the church office yesterday and unrolled the cemetery map. Unfortunately the map only shows the name of the person that purchased the plot, not the actual burials. I will reach out to the chair of the cemetery committee next time I see him and inquire about any other maps they may have (although his may be exactly the same as the one in the church). Meantime, I did take another photo of the plot, including the surrounding area and will attach to each of the memorials - there is certainly space there for three little souls. I also looked through the record book again, but found no mention of a fourth child being buried in the cemetery. Have a happy day - hope youre all staying dry there.
