Hi
Sharon, if you look under memorial 56373460 you will find Pvt.William J. Kieffer. I had an ancestry hint come up. And I was hoping you knew how to get ahold of Ada Kreisel in Trobentar Cerra. She is the last of Elizabeth's children as Elizabeth Zellman passed away. Thanks, Gwen

John Franklin "Frank" Paschall
Hi,

I have made a correction/addition through Find A Grave.

I also wanted to let you know that there is an error on his birth date on his headstone. The headstone say "11 NOV 1887" the correct date is "10 NOV 1887". The correct date can be found in his TX State Death Cert. plus his WWI Draft Card.

So, Ida was my Great Grandmother. I actually have the same picture you posted here. Since I'm pretty clueless as to my family history I was wondering how we may be related. I'm working on constructing a family tree. my mothers name is Carol and is the daughter of David Steinmiller.

I am a shooter of cemetery graves. I have 300 cemeteries on my computer. Some of the folders have 10 thousand pix or more. Recently, I have been getting volunteers to enter some of the pix on findagrave. As winter approaches, you may find yourself with some extra time, I could use help in getting my Mount Lebanon pix on line.
about 8000. If you can help, drop me a line
wb-wm@comcast.net thanks Bill

Faye Paschall
Hello!

I was taking a photo of a grave nearby this one and happened to get this photo randomly by shooting some other graves in the area. When I uploaded it to the memorial, I noticed that you had a request for it! :)

I looked up other photo requests and saw you also had one for Joseph Paschall. I did not get a picture of his grave, as I don't remember seeing it nearby. If you can get the location, I will definitely go back out there. You may already be working on this, at the request of member TLH.

I did, however, get a picture of Ellett L Paschall, who was next to Faye. So, I assume they are related. He does not have a memorial, so I will set one up for him and add his picture.

I hope this helps!
Lisa

TLH
Paschall photo requests at Grove Hill
Can you contact Grove Hill cemetery and get the burial location for your request: 214-381-7118
There are over 323 photo requests and the volunteers can not ask for that many locations.

Your request will get filled with the location information. The cemetery does not like to cooperate with findagrave volunteers.
thanks!

Photo requests at Sparkman Hillcrest
If you can call Sparkman Hillcrest (214 363 5401) and get the burial locations for your photo requests, I will fill your photo request. The office is very particular about volunteers asking for burial locations.
Once you get the location, please add it to the plot field which can only be edited when looking at the memorial in regular view.
thanks!

RE: Muetzel's
Are you related to the Muetzels? My gr.grandmother was a Wilsman. I have a few more pictures to post from Mt.L cemetery. There was a Florence Muetzel and then a few Lighthises in the same plot. I don't know if you're looking for them as well.
Glad I was able to help you.

"NOTE: Please e-mail or call (972-238-7111) Restland for plot information BEFORE submitting a photo request." Restland Memorial Park is an extremely large cemetery (over 400 acres)and without the plot location it is impossible to find. I tried to get the information but they will only research the location for a family member. Sorry but anyone trying to help you get a photo of your loved one headstone, needs your help first. Without your help, don't expect a photo, it would be like looking for a needle in a haystack.
You can e-mail - http://www.restlandfuneralhome.com/home/contact_us.html
or call - (972-238-7111) Hours are from 9am-6pm CST Monday-Sunday.
Thank you and have a great day.

Sharon,

Again you are welcome. This cemetery is on my "list of things to do." There are many undocumented graves in this cemetery.

Lela White Photo Request at Restland
I am happy to fill this request for you! I will be going out there within a week and will need the burial location to fill the request. Can you please call them at 972 238 7111 and ask for the burial location?
Thanks
PS if they ask if your coming in person, tell them no, you just need the location for your records.

RE: Ridgelawn Cemetery
Sharon,

I was headed out that direction and since the requests appeared to be not too difficult I stopped there first. Ridgelawn is much larger than I anticipated. It will be a place I head back to to try and document. I walked sections 1 and 2. There is a much larger older section further back and down the hill. You are welcome, and continued good luck in your searches.

Hi Sharon,

Sorry it took so long for me to reply. Work!!! And, I finally found the photo on an old computer. I have folders of pictures of Voegtly for each trip "up North" in various locations. Not very organized, I know. Just waiting for retirement...

It is fortunate that I had to stand back to capture the large memorial. That tells me where it is. As you face the cemetery, enter the furthest gate on the left and walk straight back. That house in the picture on the right is on one side of the cemetery. If you note the distance from the house, (which is actually on the left as you stand outside of the gates facing the cemetery) you should easily be able to find the headstone.

I would like to e-mail the picture to you, so I'll look for an e-mail address.

RE: William John Kreisel
that was basicly the reason why i chose yours today
the office was closed about 90% of the graves have grass covering the names .it did seem like there was some order there after walking around abit ifigured out that each year was pretty much buried together PS my father is also a veteren buried at that cemetery DC

Hi Sharon,

No problem. I think my husband moved those cemetery pictures onto an external drive. I will look for it. I doubt that I have the location, though. Unless the picture itself faces the street or the back hill, I would be hard-pressed to determine where in the cemetery I found it. I just walk up and down the rows, snapping as I go...

Hi Sharon,

Since you share a last name with the decedent, would you like me to transfer the memorial to you? I grew up near this cemetery, so on visits "home" I would take pictures of the graves. I must have a picture on the computer somewhere, which is what I used to enter the information on the memorial. I'll try to look for the picture this week.

It's curious that she died in McKeesport but was buried on Troy Hill. Do you know why?

I would be happy to transfer the memorial to you.

Sharon,
You're most welcome! I discovered a ground marker for James August Griffin that day also.
I added it to his memorial as well.
