Thank you so much for taking the photo of my son's headstone. You have no idea how much peace it brought me. The anniversary of his death is coming up & I always call on friends to check on his headstone. We lived in Newport & he had was diagnosed with leukemia on his 17th birthday our insurance dropped him we sold every thing to get him a bone marrow transplant, the sacrifice was we had to move to Arkansas where we had property we had 3 girls besides him and the husband & girls went south Russ & I stayed in Mi, him in and out of hospitals me working. Between all the good people of Newpot & the school we managed. Russ was a great boy! He was on the swim team, he graduated with the schools help but 10 mo after his transplant Russ died. His swim coach & his friends & I were by his side. The swim team carried his casket. It was a private funral & was mostly done from donations. ..we were seriously broke as would be...St Charles donated his plot ( in wich I am eternally thankful for) it took us 3 yrs to save up enough money for his headstone. It's the last thing I ever bought my son. So I always worry if it is ok. I wanted you to know how much I appreciate you taking this picture & what it ment to me. Thank you very much.

Are you somehow related to the Mills family (Maine>Indiana>points west)? I saw the flowers you left on the George L Mills (1911-1982) memorial. Would like to exchange information, if so. Thanks, Chris

|Dee Sager||RE: Re: William Fountain|
Bless you for what you do!!!
In a way it makes me laugh, because I am researching Fountain/LaFoutain in Michigan and anytime I find one and know where they are buried, family or not, I enter their memorial. I figure eventually that someone is going to come looking and be delighted to find that person. We found several that way in Sanilac County.
I'm writing a book on this family with my daughter. We go to Ontario to follow-up on the Canadian side of the family in May. THEN we can write the books (almost 1,000 relatives so far!!) and go on to other things. At that time, I want to pick out our small cemeteries here in SW Missouri and start photo-ing and posting them to find-a-grave. My daughter is doing that for a veteran's cemetery in her area. It's just a way of giving back.
Again, many thanks for what you do.

Thank You for your photo, and for your time taking it.
If this is the right Charles Moss, he was my red headed cousin.... LOL
I was young when he died,and he was really the black sheep of the family.... either way, I am still remembering him.

|Debra Thomas||Edward Thomas Grave|
Thank you so much for taking a photo of his grave for me!!! It really means a lot to me!! I am jumping for joy! Thank you for going out of your way to take a picture of it.
He is my grandfather I never met. He died as a result of a truck hoist broke and the box of a dump truck fell on him and another mechanic, killing them both at the Solveig Quarry in Riverview, Michigan. At the time of his death he was building a house that my parents now live in. He hadn't finished the upstairs of the house at the time of his death so he has haunted the upstairs ever since. I wish I had known him.
Thank you for being so kind!
