Book
Ok, I feel bad, because I know you sent a message about the book last year. Unfortunately, the book isn't in print anymore, but you're welcome to use any of the photos that I've posted. I've tried to add any photos that my mom had, to memorials, so they might all be on Findagrave. When I mentioned your request to my mom, she did say that she's corresponded with you before and that you helped contribute some info for her book.

My youngest sister was diagnosed with Non-Hodkins Lymphoma right around the same time that I was checking about the book, so it got put on the back shelf (and then forgotten).

I do have a few other photos of Lucinda when she was older, and a photo of Lucinda & Drury by their homestead in NM that I think also has her brother and his wife in it. Would they be your line?

My sister has been helping my mom organize her office, so if they come across any more Hawkins information, I'll be happy to share it with you.

Baby Hawkins
I've been looking through my notes to see who emailed me to add the baby and link to Drew & Mary Hawkins. I checked my mom's records that a good majority of my information came from, and she too has the baby listed under Samuel and Sarah without the burial information. She would be disappointed in me that I didn't double check the info before adding first...

I've deleted the memorial, as I can't find the email and don't have any other documentation for it...

Thanks for pointing it out. My guess is that they meant Sarah & Samuel's baby, but without knowing for sure, we'll have to wait until it can be proven...

Kevin Hooper
Calling Hoopers or Robinsons
Do you have any family information on any living members of Eliza's family? According to my family records, she was my great grandfather's sister. Her parents would then be William Thomas Hooper and Margaret K. Hooper (Jarrett). They got married in Ripley County, Missouri in July of 1880. My family records also show Eliza as being named Louisa and married to Lewis with children: Frank, Charlie, John and Charity. Charity married a Martin. Another notable connection is that my great grandfather John E. Hooper married to Jennie O. Hooper (Smith) were married in Success, AR in 1909 and their first child Elzie May Hooper was born in 1910 and died just a little over one year later in 1911. Also Eliza and John's father William Thomas was listed on the 1880 census as living in the community of Little Black, AR which I assume is near the Black Cemetery. Do you have any information on Hoopers, Robinsons, or Martins in the area that are still living or buried nearby? I would appreciate any help or information that you can provide. Thank you so much.

RE: Stella May Woods
Stella May Woods was a Burton. She had at least one sister, my grandmother Virgie Prim. I think she had another sister but it's been many years since I heard their names or researched them. Stella is the mother of Mason Woods, whom I met many years ago when he was in the service.
Are you Mason's daughter?

William Pool
Hi there,
I was wondering....are you pretty certain that William is buried here in Tacoma? He's not at the Old Tacoma cemetery, Mountain View cemetery, or the New Tacoma Cemetery.

Gola Peterson
Hello,
I just claimed your photo request for a pic of Gola Peterson's grave stone in Montecito Cemetery in Colton, California. I noticed that in her memorial there is a link to a husband, Lester Peterson. It appears it is a double headstone. I will put the photo also in Lester's Find A Grave memorial page, no need for you to put in an addt'l request for the photo to be put in his memorial page, I will just do it.
All the best,
Susan V.

RE: Agatha Burton problem
I forgot to say in my other message that we want to go back in the cooler weather. It will be easier to look when the grass has died down and the bugs aren't an issue. It was a really neat place.

Burton Family Cemetery
I couldn't find Agatha's stone. The cemetery is in terrible shape, unreadable, broken stones, etc. It's overgrown, too. I was wearing tick spray and still got lots of them on me. The closest I could find is Agnes. I took pics of all stones though and I'd be happy to pass them on to you if you like. Just let me know.

I am sorry this stone just didn't photograph very well. It is the only one out of 25 that I took today that is really to dark. I took the photo on 2 different settings and the one I posted is the best.

I made a photo of the monument yesterday, but don't plan to post it. If you'd like a copy, I'll be glad to email. Only Mr. Cox's side was visible from outside the fence. The name and most of the dates are readable, but the rest of the (tall) monument, and the fenced plot, is covered in poison oak. I didn't take gloves and boots. :-) Will be glad to try again after frost, or pending cleanup.

Jacobs Graves in Prater Cemetery
I have made two attempts to locate the Prater Cemetery around the location indicated by the map page associated with find a grave in Rutheford County TN, but have failed both times. There are two Prater family cemeteries near my home. The one nearest does not contain any Jacobs. The area indicated on the map is only accessible by private roads festooned with No Tresspassing signs. The area of the county is called Prater Hill and many Jacobs families live on the main, 'Big Springs Road', and there is a Jacobs Road nearby, again with a few Jacobs families listed. I have even made an attempt to call a few to see if anyone knows exactly where the cemetery is or whose property it is on with no luck. If you are aware of relations in the area I could consult, I'll try again.

Thanks
Wayne Anderson
