Sharon Graham
Hi Connie,
My name is Sharon Graham. I would like to transfer the management of three of your entries to my name. I'm not sure how to do I thought I would just contact you. The names are Oreb Elmore Grim/Elizabeth Clarkson Grim who are my paternal grandparents. And the last one is Michael Wayne Grim who was my brother. They are buried in Mt. Rose Cemetery in York, PA. We just buried my father a few months ago behind his parents and next to his son. Please let me know how to go about this. Thank you for your help.

George W. Rowland
Hi again Connie,

I was just looking at the two burial cards for George. One is from the county of York and the other is from the state of Pennsylvania. They essentially have the same info except for the spelling of the last name. Is it odd that his marker at the monument is cut in half? Were all the name markers like this? Perhaps someone notice the spelling error and fixed it by cutting off the end and adding the "w" in Rowland. You think? Anyway, both cards say the location of the grave is in the "Soldier's Circle" and the marker is "Monument". I wold say, then, that this IS where he is buried and NOT a cenotaph.

Thanks for your help.

RE: George Rowland/Roland
Hi Connie,

Thanks for taking time to look at this. So--do you think George is buried at the memorial or does he also have his own plot? I have requested a photo on the other memorial, but so far nobody has picked it up. If he is not actually buried at the monument, I suppose your memorial should be designated a cenotaph. Find a Grave will do this. I don't know the details.

Putting your picture on the other memorial also is a good idea, especially since he is mentioned individually.

Thanks again,

RE: William Godwin
You are very welcome. William was my 2nd Great Grandfather. So, I needed this proof as well. I was hoping that he was on the backside of hers and I was very pleased to find his name there. I live in Texas and most of my family live in Iowa. So on a very short visit I happened to drive very near there and found it! I looked all around that area where I found that gravestone and found no other Godwins. If you have any photo of him or his wife I would love to see those. Thanks.

Sorry, I had you edit this record previously as the being the son of Benjamin and Mary Snell but I was mistaken. His parents are James William Snell and Mary Ann Kopp Snell. Benjamin and Mary are his grandparents. I resubmitted an edit request to correct this error. Please make the correction. Thank you, Kasey

Claude H. Clapsaddle
Yes, the picture you saw on his memorial is the same Claude that is the son of Omer O. Clapsaddle and Mary Catherine Cox. It is my photo. Not sure where she picked it up, most likely my website. Would be nice if she gave credit where she "takes" the picture from...Find A Grave policy.

Are you related? I have been researching the Smith line for many, many years. Would be glad to help.

Michael Wayne Grim
Hi Connie. I have started a search of my family history and saw that you took a picture of this grave at Mt. Rose Cemetery this past June. Michael was my brother and he is buried with my grandparents at Mt. Rose. I was just curious as to how you came to take this picture or if it was for a particular purpose...
As I said...I'm only curious. Thanks for your time.

RE: Wm. Lefever
No, the Lefever's aren't part of my family tree as far as I know. I just happened to take pics of most of them when I was trying to fulfill a photo request for someone by that name at the cemetery. :) And I like to help make the site more accurate if I can!

Thanks again for being so fast with your page updates.
