James Gandrau Photo Request
Hi Carol,
Your photo request has disappeared. Did you remove it, or did findagrave remove it? I will still keep it on my list of graves to check for.

James Gandrau Photo Request
Hi Carol. Your grave photo request is still outstanding for James Gandrau, the reason being that there is still no marker for him. Would you like for an area photo to be taken and posted to his memorial page, or would you prefer to wait and see if a permanent marker is eventually placed for him?

No, I looked in the wrong place for James's grave. I know where it is now (about three rows away from William and Mary), and will get a picture of it probably sometime this week--Saturday at the latest.

Sorry, I looked back at what I sent earlier and see I missed giving you the link to Grave Concerns database. Had a brain laspe. Sometimes I just think faster than I type.
On occasion you will find someone who is not in the database, or listed on the Find A Grave website, those take a little more investigation, and because it involves hospital records it ends up to be on the family to acquire those records. Usually though if the family is requesting, the person is on the Find A Grave site. I have had occasion to have been contacted by email by people looking for family not listed and end up referring them to the hospital.

If I can answer any other questions please ask.

Also you are more than welcome to come work with Grave Concerns, we are always looking for volunteers.

I have a database that shows the grave numbers / names / creamations (cans)

I work with Grave Concerns which has a mission of restoring the cemetery and adding new markers to the graves that have the names and dates to return the dignity to those buried under just numbers.

Western State Hospital Cemetery
Hi Carol,
I see you have claimed a request for Western State Cemetery. Have you ever been to the cemetery or are familiar with it? I ask because it can be a very challenging cemetery.
The markers are for the most part only small concrete squares with numbers on them. Much of the time they are covered over with dirt grass etc.
I do quite a bit of work with this cemetery, and if you find you have problems locating the marker I would be willing to help you with it.

Hi Carol, I'm a F.A.G. member and I saw that you had claimed the request for a picture of Mr. Welcome's marker. Someone posted it today..so I guess you won't have to go and do it. You might want to let the requester of the photo know so he can remove it from the request page. Take care.

Remember Those Who Have Passed
Gaines Richardson
Do you by chance have a list of internments in Dewalt Cemetery? I am looking for Gaines and Josephine Richardson.
