RE: Hello My Friend
Hi Ruby,

Hope all is well with you. No snow in my area yet, next week we are looking at warmer temps - in the 50s. You said you are researching the Lewiston area; did you know that Google has free newspaper scans from Lewiston? I have found a lot of helpful info there.

Roy Hudson
Samuel W. Smith
HI Ruby:
This Ry Hudson we spoke a couple years back about Samuel W. Smith being related to Albert Ross Smith. I have quite a bit of information on booth Smith families BUT I still can not link both together. I know everything points that they do.
So I am hoping you may have done more research about them. Oh, Lucille Viola Smith passed last year. her father was Abner Frank Smith son to Samuel. I really want her to see the conclusion to her family. Anyway I"ll keep looking for an answer if you can not help.

Thank You:
Ry Hudson

Frank M. "FM" Crouch Photo
I have posted an overview photo of the Crouch family plot to Frank's memorial. His grave is unmarked according to cemetery records. There are five other Family members who are buried in this plot as well. Willie Mae Crouch does not have a marker either.

Joel Morgan Fletcher & Gertys Johnson
I saw a note you left for your cousin Joel Morgan Fletcher 1892-1959. I'm tracing the Johnson lines down because Gerty's parents Cary and Sallie were related to my mother.

Are you aware of any children of J. Morgan & Gertys? I've found a Sarah Jane Fletcher born 30 Jul 1923 but can't find documentation past high school for her. Appreciate any leads or help.

Since I had a plot location, I found the headstone but the last name is Mericle not Kenesson but there is paperwork showing Kenesson as a last name. A little confusing. I hope this help in your search.

I received your edits. I saw that you were requesting a link to a Bessie Gray as her mother. Geraldine's death certificate says Bessie Penny was her mother. Please provide more information if this Bessie Dempsey remarried or ____? Also I saw no dates for this Bessie Gray on her memorial.
Thanks for your help.

RE: Correct Cemetery
Hello! Yay! I'm so glad that you were able to locate their correct burial location. First thing you need to do is to delete the duplicate memorials that you created for them in Old Shongaloo. Duplicate memorials are a no-no and create confusion. Secondly, pull up their respective memorials (the ones that show them buried in Union Springs). Just above the cemetery name, you should see an "Edit" link, click on that and it should take you to a screen where you'll have to do a search for Old Shongaloo Cemetery (It will already have Union Springs listed so you just need to delete that info before typing Old Shongaloo.) Just follow the easy step-by-step directions to finish making the changes. If you have any problems though, send me another message and we'll get it sorted.
