Your photo for Anthony has been added. I grew up with Anthony's father and mother.

Your Hometown
I don't know how, but somehow I had you connected with Nashville, TN. Did you ever live there?

Please do leave a link if you wish. I'd love for people to visit "our folks" and leave some memorials. Hope you have a Happy Easter and keep in touch. I have a new car, now, so maybe I can make it up to Nashville for a visit and you can show me around the city. Never been there, as close as I am. Would love to see the Parthenon and some old cemeteries. :-D

I really liked your tribute to Martin Luther King. In case you're interested, I maintain a large virtual cemetery for social and environmental activists, including black and gay civil rights activiists, abolitionists, feminists, naturalists, unionists, religious freedom advocates, health care reformers, and advocates for the poor. Please feel free to visit it any time. A lot of the activists in my cemetery get relatively few flowers.

Take care.

I'm honored that you've chosen me as a Find A Grave friend; I've added you to my "Friends" list as well.

Thank you for visiting my cousin, Troy, today. It was a great pleasure for me to visit your grandparents as well. I'm glad you like the tokens I left for them. I myself almost cried when I first saw the "Forever Together" token on the memorial for Harvey Milk's lover, Scott Smith. It's still one of my favorite tokens in my scrapbook.

Kelderman-Drost
Hi Jeffery,

My connection is actually with the VanderTuig's buried in Lynden, WA. Hattie married Frank Drost, sister of Tena who married Henry Kelderman Sr. I do have some information in my genealogy database on your great-great-grandparents: Aalbert Kelderman, born 7 Apr 1858 in Veenendaal, Gelderland Province, Netherlands; died 8 Apr 1940 in Otterlo (GL). He married Willempje Hertenberg on 28 Aug 1884 in Ede (GL). She was born 10 Apr 1863 in Ede and died 29 Apr 1928 in Otterlo. I have 7 children listed for them. Since they are your direct line, I have transferred their memorials to you. I'm not sure where they are buried but you could check Graftombe (www.graftombe.nl)

Enjoy your family research!

Kind regards,
Nancy

Welcome...
...to the Find A Grave community. Thank you for honoring Harvey Milk today.

One of my Find A Grave friends, Karl Respess, maintains a virtual cemetery called the Sanctuary of the Rainbow, which contains memorials for many gay activists. Please visit it if you have a chance to. Many of those activists don't get a lot of flowers.
