RE: Photo - Lela Fields Channell
I'm just happy I found it. :) I was looking for someone else and saw her grave and thought it sounded familiar.

Take care.

Thank you so much for the six wonderful photographs.
I had given up hope of acquiring them, so your contributions caught me completely off guard.
I so appreciate your time, effort and dedication.
Can't thank you enough.

RE: Muir links
I didn't see one for Alexander Young Stewart. I will try to get out there again sometime in December. I can't believe he still lived in the old neighbor and you just missed each other.

I would love to see what you've found out. Thanks!

Thank you! I just realized who you are. This is your cousin Leigh Ann in Alabama. :)

I meant to tell you that I went out to Brighton Cemetery and took a lot of photos of your Stewart family.

Hey David,
I have added the info you have given me and I believe that the "C" should have been a "G" so I made that change. If you would like this memorial transferred to you, please go to the edit tab on the memorial and just make the request.
God Bless,
Pam Palmer

RE: Thanks!
Elmwood is over 400 acres and consists of over 50 Blocks. Each Block contains thousands of graves. Yes, it's big. The Stewarts are buried in Block 28, Lot 221. You can stop be the office and get a cemetery map PLUS a map of Block 28. It should be easy to find after that. Let me know if you want me to get the GPS coordinates for them the next time I go to Elmwood.

RE: Thanks!
You are welcome. By the way, there are two more markers in the same lot. They are: David Stewart (May 28, 1898 - Aug 30, 1962) and Freddie R Stewart (Oct 27, 1900 - Jul 5, 1985). If you add memorials for them, let me know and I'll upload the photos. David

Richard Searles
Eads ancestry
I am researching the Eads family of Walker county Alabama. Lafayette Pratt Eads (~1885-1960) and Annie Alma Brymer Eads (~1898-1975) had eight children, of which one daughter (Bobby Sue Eads Cunningham) is listed in Tucker cemetery. I know Eads had famly ties with Bridgmon, Castleberry & Draper families. I believe there are additional Eads family members buried at Tucker (Ancestry bullitenboard lists Lafayette Pratt Eads as buried there), and am wondering how to find out who all is there. Can you help?

Thanks ...... Rick Searles (searles1@comcast.net)

Elmwood Cemetery Photo Requests
I would be more than happy to take your requested pictures in Elmwood Cemetery (Birmingham, Alabama). This cemetery, however, spans over 412 acres and I would need the block and lot numbers, as well as the sectional (N S E W) if applicable.

The Elmwood Cemetery office can be reached by calling 205-251-3114.

I look forward to helping,

Kelli

I took some macro close-ups of the headstone if you want to see them. Send me an email address to cubbz56@hotmail.com and I will send them to you. Then you can choose to add them to the memorial if you wish or keep them for yourself.

Regards, Tony
