Thank you for updating the memorial. I am related on the Moore line but add individuals as needed. I have been working on genealogy for 50 years and have stacks of information. If I can be any help let me know.

Thank you for family links information. I've added the link for Evelyn Flesher Parks, but the link # for Isaac is incorrect. Please send the correct number and I will be happy to update her memorial. Thank you again!

You're very welcome! I took photos of any other possible family members at the Welborn Cemetery too. There were several others that may be of interest to you as well.

Thanks for your page on Mae with the obituary. I am a descendant of her husband, Charles Walter George, and never expected to have such an easy time discovering who the mysterious "Aunt Mae" in our family really was, but the mystery was solved instantly by your contributions.

OK - I have the requests printed out. I will have to ask the monument guy where they are buried. He knows it all. Will be sad if/when something happens to him. I will do what I can.

|Anna Jaech||Gross Family|
Thanks for writing. As I child I lived next door to the fine & beautiful home built by William Dabney Kerr. At Dr. Kerr's death it was purchased by Henry Gross. When we lived there Betty "Granny" Gross was a widow & several rooms upstairs were rented to teachers at MSD. Mrs. Fisher was also a widow & she & her children lived there in the winter so they could go to school in Fulton. All the lots along that street were enormous & she kept many chickens. My grandfather built a stile at the fence so we children could strew the family garbage over the chicken yard every evening. He was a friend of Granny. Because he taught printing & was editor of the Missouri Record from 1901-1910, he was a fine signer (he was hearing). He taught me to sign when I was 6.
I hope you have access to "Historic MSD" by Richard Reed, 2000. It is a superlative history of the people who made MSD a very fine institution - a blessing.
