RE: Bergan Family In St. Mary's Cemetery
I would love to have the write up you've done for Patrick & Bridget & children. I've not idea what happened to Patrick. If I ever find out, I'll send it along to you.

Are you related to the Bergan family?

I think that you have to be the one to connect the family members that you've added records for. I was able to linked Nicholas Bergan & Anna Drew Bergan's daughter, Katherine Regina Bergan to them since I added her burial record to the site.

If you've done it before, you know it's a bit of work, especially when you have a lot of names. Would you be willing to do it if I sent you each of the memorial numbers and corresponding family members?

Jeannie

Bergan Family In St. Mary's Cemetery
Hi,

All of the Bergan family members buried in St. Mary's Cemetery in West Peoria, are all related, and are my relatives. There are quite a few of them. =)

Ann D. (Drew) Bergan and Nicholas Bergan are my 2nd great grandparents.

I was wondering if you would allow me to link the family members together? I'm not sure how we'd do that, but if it's ok with you I'd like to give it a try.

Thank you,

Jeannie

Would you like me to transfer Walter Cottle to you? I am a Cottle also but not as close to him as you are. Do you have any photos of his grave site?

O'Donnell
I think I typed the section name incorrectly. It's "Summit" with one t. I'm pretty sure I put two. Sorry, for some reason it seems like it should have two but it doesn't lol. By the way, if you would like I can send you a copy of the paper the cemetery office sent out.

Gypsy Soul
O'Donnell
I returned to the Old Silver Brook Cemetery in Anderson, SC today and was able to locate the graves of Barney and Mary O'Donnell. The cemetery office also printed out a page that gave their plot information, Summitt Section, Block J, Lot 35.

In addition to Mary and Barney, a Carroll O'Donnell is also listed as being buried in the plot but without a marker. Carroll O'Donnell was buried on Dec. 14, 1945.

Also according to the record, the plot was purchased on October 24, 1922 by Leo P. O'Donnell for $54.00. Hope this helps.

Barnard O' Donnell
I didn't find Barnard O' Donnell but I think the lady at the cemetery office gave me the wrong plot information. By the time I realized this, the office was already closed for the evening. I will go back on Tuesday (Jan. 10, 2012) and check again.

Khristine,

I found PW Gallagher and MR Gallagher in Chapel 1
I will return and look for the other two. there is a memorial to a Bride Bergan Gallagher and Mary L Gallagher, if you are interested.

Note of interest PW's Stone says he was born in 1853 not 1851

Thanks
