|Diane Addington||West Rhodes Creek Cemetery in Cecilia, KY|
Hello, I see that you have taken many nice photos of those interred in this cemetery. I spent last week in KY, (HOT, HOT, HOT) and photographed several stones in this cemetery. I have posted some photos on the same memorials where you have posted photos. Some of mine are a bit more clear, but not all. If you are offended by any of my posts, just let me know, and I will delete mine. Thank you for all your efforts on this great site.
Sincerely, Diane Addington Matherly

Hello Scott, I saw on findagrave, you are a cousin of mine and I would love to hear from you. I am Beverly Colvin Smith, Henderson James Colvin is my 3rd g-grandfather and I would love to know how you fit into the Colvin clan. My father was Sylvin Colvin son of Henderson "Schooner" Colvin, grandson of Henderson Colvin, g-grandson of John Washington Colvin, g-g-grandson of Henderson James Colvin. I have been researching the Colvin family for about 25 years and love to learn of family members I did not know before.

FYI: I had dropped a note to the manager of the duplicate memorial, and now there is only one: yours, which is what I had hoped for. The two duplicate Shively Cemeteries are now empty.

Did you happen to find a stone for George Jacob Riedel there? I had him in another cemetery until a contributor produced an obituary that stated Shively so I recently moved it. Thank you.

Thanks for the correction Scott. The grave site info I had gotten from his grandson misdirected me.

Would you kindly remove your photos for Lt. John McGee . We have sponsored this memorial and would like to add more pictures, so if you would remove yours, that would be great as I belong to the organization that marked him. Thank you Paint

Thanks so much for the great photos of Tamar and John Jenkins. You seem to know about light, shade, and the time of day to get just the right angle on these old stones to make them more legible. Thanks again for your time and effort in documenting these folks. DAM

Thank you so very much. I wish everyone thought like you do. It's a volunteer site so why people are so possessive of the pictures I don't understand. I like helping people find their family members. Have a great day!! Georgia

Thank you for the nice photo. I tried to find this cemetery this summer while in KY, but could only find Cox's Creek. Beautiful country though, driving all the back country roads. I love Bardstown...so much history! I love that area over by Maker's Mark too. (I grew up in Elizabethtown.)
I would love to meet up with you when I get to Ky again. I bet you could help me find some of these OLD cemeteries. I met several nice Nelson County people in my search to find cemeteries-all helpful and social as I recall KY folks being. I had several phone conversations with Mr. Bill Harned, an especially gracious and helpful fellow.
I so appreciate your kindness in getting the photograph and posting it on Find A Grave. Thank you for this!
