Judy Mayfield
Matilda Wentworth
Hi John,
The text in Matilda's bio was regarding her husband Franklin Wentworth. The birth and death date was his info not hers. I can understand how it could be confusing when read. I have deleted the dates and left his name and their marriage info.

RE: Davidsin Co. Civil War Veteran Thomas Gould
Good evening. I am one of Tom's contributors, and I go with a list he gives me. Probably one of us "messed up", I guess that's not too serious. Thanks so much--either way you are appreciated.

May I use the photo that you contributed to the Find A Grave memorial of Thomas Gould, to post on Vt.C.W. site(
You will receive credit for this.
Thank you for your consideration.

Mary Lou Adsit
Hi John - thank you for your interest in the memorial for Mary Lou Adsit (169912472). Please note that Find A Grave does not permit posting scanned obituaries to memorials, as explained in the "Can I add an obituary to my interment listing?" section of the Help with Find A Grave rules. Unfortunately, that means the photo needs to be deleted. Thanks - Deb

Kay Meredith Hathaway Thomas # 163974150
She died in Portland, Maine. According to the family she was cremated and her ashes were placed in the cemetery where her parents were buried. That would be Fort Ethan Allen Cemetery - Colchester, Chittenden County, Vermont. Her husband was my husband's first cousin. And his ashes were scattered at sea. Thank you so very much for making this memorial.

Holly Nye
RE: Hyde Cemetery
Thanks for getting back to me so quickly! Yes, hopefully the owners are nice & will let us go!
I don't know any Nye's back east, but my husband's 10th great uncle, Benjamin Nye, came to America in the 1600's and his house that is about an hour south of Boston is now a museum. So if they have a connection to him, we could be related. That's another stop on our trip this summer. :)

Hyde Cemetery
I am planning a trip back east & would like to go to the Hyde Cemetery in East Georgia, Franklin, Vermont- I have several relatives buried there. I saw that you had a message on Star's page that you are from the area & you mentioned a different cemetery in Georgia, Vermont. Hyde Cemetery is near Hope Cemetery there just a mile down the road. From trying to locate the cemetery on the map it looks like it might be on private land. Do you know if there is public access to this cemetery at all? Or if it is hard to find? Or do you know the area?
Thanks for any help!

Rev. Lucius Dickinson/St Johnsbury Ctr edits
Hi John,

Thank you very much for the info on Lucius. I was able to figure out a few of the other stones that were with him at the plot.
I have linked his wife Millicent (and her to her parents and brother Stephen). I have added photos as well.

RE: Tyler Burbank
hi John,
Like many others here on FindAGrave, I do not link my managed memorials to Burial Unknowns. I also don't add entries for those with unknown disposition.

Although FindAGrave is a genealogical resource, it is not a genealogical site. This is FindAGrave, not a memorial site for generations who have passed and we do not know where they are buried.

I used to link to Burial Unknowns and there were all sorts of issues. I find not linking to be the safest path. Thank you for understanding.

By all means. I didn't mean to ask you to take it down, but you seem to have interest, so I thought I'd point out the stone.

Elbridge Burbank
I transferred Elbridge Burbank to you. I am not a relative. It was an old mausoleum and I added some names. The graves were ransacked many years ago and the mausoleum was torn down. What remains were left were burried in the cemetery adjoined to the mausoleum.
