I was wonder if you would have access for burial information for Margaret Durbin in St. Joseph's Cemetery. I am trying to determine which Margaret Durbin she is--there are a number of them. This one may be my 2nd GG. Thanks for your help.

|Shirley Houk||Conrad Golden #47039484|
I am wondering if this person could actually be Conrad Goldner who died in Canal Dover on 01 Feb 1886. Death date also shows as 02 Feb 1886 on another record and buried in Saint Joseph's Cemetery. It has been many years since I've been to the cemetery and frankly do not remember if I found a tombstone for him.
The Conrad I research shows as Goldner, Gouldner, and Guldner on various records. Born May 1846 in Schaffhausen, Germany. Immigrated Nov 1866 - had two wives. Lived in Tuscarawas County from 1870 census until his death.
Thank you for your time and effort on so many burials at St. Joseph.

I'll see what I can find online. We live in southern Utah so it might be difficult to stop into the library.

Frank Reiger is my Great Grandfather and I am having
trouble tracing him back any farther. You indicated that he was born in Upper Selesia Borussia. That is the first time I have seen that information. Do you have any thing else on him or where I could look for further information. He died at 28 yrs, 13 days before my Grandmother was born. I would also like to find out more about his death if anything is available locally. Thanks for your help.

|dkennedy311||Grave locations at St. Jo's|
First off let me say how thankful I am of all your efforts posting the graves at St. Joseph's, it has been a huge help in my research. I've found that I have 14 (i think) direct ancestors all buried in that cemetery. My family lines located there are Rieger, Butler, Hornung, Erb, and Franz.
I actually just visited the area this past weekend to see the sites with my father and brother. We found all that we expected except all burials prior to 1900 couldn't be found b/c of unreadable gravestones.
Would you be able to share any details as to where you found your information to post on Findagrave for each person? Obviously, some are easy if you can read the stone, but others are no longer legible yet it appears you've still posted their grave in Findagrave's database. You even added notes like (moved from old cemetery, or w/ Nicolaus) that left me confused as it appeared those stones were no longer legible. So I'm curious where you found all the cemetery entries.
I attempted to get locations before arriving from the caretaker, but for those born before 1900 he either couldn't find records or just couldn't find the location within the cemetery.
Those memorials I'm attempting to find are as follows, and I believe all of them were created by yourself;
46946819, 46946868, 46946780, 47039473, 46946783, 46946846
Thank you so much for any assistance or guidance you can provide
Have a great day,

oh, great thanks! I went rather far with the Nininger family compared to the other reseach I started. Keep coming to dead ends. Barnhart Wolfley was the husband of Mary Madeline Weaver which you may already know but I cannot find anything on him. :( Thanks so much for this. Will see what I get out of it.

I have a question for you.....Sr Carita, the Archivist at Holy Family Convent was curious to understand why you would want a photo of a nun's grave marker since she can not be a grandparent of yours. I thought that it was possibly a family genealogist wanting to complete a tree with photos of a parent's or grandparent's siblings. She wished for me to ask and satisfy her curiosity so I am asking :-)
I noticed that Sr Mary Afra had a sister, also a nun, named Sister Mary Celeste Guisinger. I just happened, quite by accident, to find her marker at the convent and snapped a picture of it. If you want that picture please create a memorial for Celeste Guisinger and put in a photo request and I will fulfill that for you. Thanks, Sharon

Do you know the exact location of Luigi's grave? Luigi is my husband's grandfather and we are having difficulty determining the exact location of his grave since the stones are so worn.

|Shirley Houk||Charlotta Jurgens|
I just found your entry for Charlotta(Groeninger) Jurgens in Most Holy Redeemer Cemetery in Baltimore, MD and see you have her birth year as 1895. Her birth year should be 1825.
I do not show her as Charlotta - only as Charlotte on various records.
If you are connected to her, I have one of her sons, Joseph Henry Jurgens, b 10 Oct 1864 in Baltimore and d 03 Feb 1933 in Akron, Summit Co., OH. He married into my Miller family.
I will be entering Joseph and wife, Ernestine, to Find-A-Grave and connect Joseph to your memorials for John Conrad and Charlotte Jurgens. Joseph and Ernestine are buried at Holy Cross Cemetery, Akron, Summit Co., OH.
You've done a nice job on the Jurgens.

Ida's grandparents (Solomon Mott and Mary Anne Shelley) had a daughter, Caroline Mott. Caroline married John Crampton. They lived in Ohio for a while but moved to Muskegon County (MI). Caroline and John had a daughter, Carrie Crampton (I was named after her). Carrie married Charles Oatman. They are my maternal great-grandparents :)
