RE: Harry B. Pitts #91232095
You are welcome. It was a frustrating day - about 75% of the requests had no stone. Never had a day like that. Maybe that is why the requests had been sitting there so long.

You are very Welcome. I am glad I could help.
The fact that there is no stone for me is not a problem. I think those with no stones need to be remembered as well.
I did have one of my Memorial's in The same area also with no stone, so Your request was not out of my way at all. I am glad I could help.

Elizabeth Davis, #130374

I could not find anything on her. I even looked on but couldn't find anyone who died Sept, 17, 1901. Do you know when she was born? I don't mind rechecking for you so maybe we could at least connect her to her parents.

RE: Susie and Hannah Hess
Both of these Hess's
were requested by you about a month apart. Susie is listed with dates of 1867 -1874 and Hannah has dates of 1849-1933. The # for Susie is 18296882 the # for Hanna is 118439302 and for Newton #118439146. In the records at the library of this cemetery I did not find Newton Hess listed. There is a Newton Alonzo Hess in Bellefontaine Cemetery.

Hi Linnea

It is good to hear from you. I am from Delta, Ut.
I to am from Annie Elizabeth Pitts she was my 2nd Great Grandmother. I am through her son William Henry Kesler, then Raymond Kesler.

I thought it is neat that someone had a picture of Annie's brother
Joseph Beeden Pitts
1848-1932 KWJW-BNB
and placed it in Family search, now it is in Find A Grave.

I only have one picture of Annie and her husband Joe Kesler. Joe Kesler picture came out of the book Prominent men and Pioneers of Utah.

Thanks Mike

Hi Linnea

Harry Beaden Pitts #76354576 I thinks he ties in Family Search with Harry Beaden Pitts K2HW T9M.

Richard Morrison
RE: Bines Dixon Mmemorial
thank you.

His parents are listed on page 31 of the House of Ocheltree book. They are listed under A2.5. I'm struggling to find the descendants since Thomas and Margaret both died around 1840.

Find A Grave now has three listings. one for Schoolcraft, one for Schoolcraft Township in Vicksburg and one for Schoolcraft Township in Schoolcraft. Since the sign at the cemetery in Schoolcraft reads Schoolcraft Township Cemetery there really shouldn't be a cemetery listing that just gives the name Schoolcraft. Somebody really messed things up. Now there are hundreds of people listed in Schoolcraft Township Cemetery in Vicksburg who are actually buried in Schoolcraft Township Cemetery in Schoolcraft.

I added the photos of the Civil War Memorial. By the way, I forgot to tell you that I am one of the "Sisters Three" who provided the photo of Richard gravestone. That's why I recognized his name when I saw it on the cannon.

Linnea, did you know that Richard's name is engraved on one of the cannons in front of the Civil War Memorial located on the grounds of the Mason County Courthouse in Havana? I grew up in Havana and can't begin to tell you how many times I have looked at that memorial without realizing there were names listed...until just a few months ago. If you would like copies of my photos, contact me and I will be happy to share.

I see that you are the contributor for Elisha Biggs Beidleman's grave. I know that his parents, Johann George (George) Bidleman and Hannah (Deemer) Beidleman are in the Rosemont Cemetery, though I don't know if it is the "old" or "new" one. I was wondering if you have found their graves and/or if there is any information on them. I have some Beidleman information, but I have never been able to find information on Hannah. I would love to one day find her parents and family. Any help or leads would be greatly appreciated! THANK YOU!

RE: John Beidelman Memorial
This book lists everyone that is buried in this Cemetery. I will check at the library in the local section and see if I can find something about local veterans. I just might even find out who he was married to and if he had any children. They even have local phone books and city directories. If I can't find something in there, I can also go to the VFW and see if they just might have something on him. I can't check this book out but I can make copies of the pages. I just might be able to find where his wife (if he had one) is buried at.

I found his name in a book in our local library and saw that he wasn't posted on here, so I wanted his family to know that he hasn't been forgotten. I'm glad that it helped you out a lot. It makes me happy to be able to help others with their research. If there's anyone elce that you have a problem with, let me know and I will see what I can find out for you

RE: Gertrude Clark Memorial No. 47370337
I found Gertrude. She is on Bessie,Charles and Ella's stone. There isn't a death date on the stone, which is why the cemetery has no record of her as she isn't buried there

RE: Gertrude Clark Memorial No. 47370337
As the cemetery has no record of her burial in their cemetery the best I can do is go to the other Clarks and see if she is buried with them. Forest Hill records go by the burial or death date. Clark is a common name so if you can supply death dates that would help them greatly

Hi Linnea,

I found Lewis's name and service record in the Pennsylvania Veterans' Burial Record; his name was spelled as Louis. I neglected to change the spelling as found on the grave stone. Thanks for the correction.

Best wishes,
