RE: Barsum
Would you like me to transfer the memorial to your care? James

Added by Romper90069 on Dec 02, 2014 1:28 PM

She is next to Raymond Barsum. I got it from a database with all Forest Lawns burials from begining to 2006. I can't give out the url as it was offered to me and I was not to give it out. If you go to the memorial and click "Request a photo" there are 6 of us that go weekly to do requests.

RE: Question
Anne, I created the memorial from Forest Lawn burial records. If you go to the memorial on the lower right side you can request a photo of the headstone. James

RE: Eve Stoody Tressel
Thank you. I am working with Daniel and Margaret's children now.. I have sent so many request's, it's hard to remember all of them.. I just finished with their oldest, Anna Barbara, and managed to find all but two of she and George Stoody's children.. Still missing Mary M. and Lavina...
I'll start on the second child, Eve Smith's family later.. As for the marker. When I visited the graves in 2008 with two of my cousins in Ohio, I live in Nevada, we noticed the marker on Daniel's grave was for the Civil War, and Confedreate to boot.. Just coulden't stand it, so I and one of my cousin decided we needed to do something agout it.. He is a WW II Navy veteran. So, when I managed to get the marker, I sent it to my cousin and he took it to the cemetery just before memorial day of 2009.
I'm certain we will be in contact again in the future, so I wish you and your family a great day.

As long as you credit any photos of mine that you use as "photographed by Meredith Davies" you can feel free to use them.

Carol Lewis
RE: Henry Leiter
We are cousins through John Leiter (1781-1825). My mother was a Leiter. Your Henry was a sibling to my ggggrandfather, John B. Leiter (1809-1872). I have been doing my genealogy off and on since 1979 and visited Gebhart Church Cemetery many years ago to visit my ancestors but did not take many pictures. This time I took as many ancestorial pictures as I could find in the cemetery. It is a very old cemetery and some of the stones, such as John Liter (Leiter), is deteriorating at a rapid pace and some are completely unreadable. You are more than welcome for the picture.
