Call Cemetery
Carolyn, I noticed you did a lot of work in Call Hill Cemetery. Are you local to the area and would you possibly be able to get a photo of the Hamlin memorial?

Thanks much!

RE: Samuel D Bull Family in Burns Cemetery
My great great grandmother was Mary Almira Bull Galpin, memorial #88259836, second wife of Valentine Orson Galpin. They lived in Burns, Allegany, NY.

I have been trying to determine if Mary's parents were Samuel D Bull, memorial #39032577, and Irena Bull (maiden name unknown), memorial #39032574. Mary's daughter, my great grandmother's middle name was Irena, Mary Irena Galpin Hadley. Mary Bull was born in Wheatland, Monroe, NY according to her obit, but her parents were not named.

Samuel & Irena's sons Martin D, Ethan A, and Allen R and daughter Marcia J were all born in Monroe County according to the 1855 NY State Census.

Not sure if we are related. Is your Samuel Bull, #45368426, related to my Samuel D Bull?

RE: Himrod cemetery
Ha! I guess we both will support Old Himrod from afar. Apparently I have roots in that "home" too. I'm sure we will connect on another profile at some point soon.

Caroline, Actually of the 3 wives of John Robbins Leavenworth, Jerusha is the only one which at this time I am not related to. If you would prefer not to care for her memorial, I would be happy to. That decision is up to you. Thank you for making the changes.

RE: Roosa
Were the Roosa graves in Cadiz? The cemetery list that I have has no Roosa as buried there. What cemetery are they in? I will let you know about transfers as I go along. Thanks, kathy

Deleting Paulina Carner Reynolds
This is a duplicate entry and she needs to be deleted and since you created it, you are the only one who can delete it. Here is her memorial # 61791934 to be deleted. You have her entered correctly and linked to her parents under a different memorial #. Thanks bunches, Kathy PS I had changed her name from Carner to Reynolds and then realized the duplicatation....

Patty Gerhart
French Hill Cemetery
Hi Caroline,

A contributor has put a photo with the wrong person. She has attached a photo of Hattie Roosa's stone and put it with Harriet B. Roosa. The contributor does not except messages, so I am unable to tell her to move it. Perhaps you can? Or perhaps you can remove it.

Also, the information you used, did you get it from the Steuben County website? There are some typographical errors in the information for this cemetery on that website. Harriet Roosa Anabel and Harriet Roosa the daughter of Mene and Maria Roosa are the same person. Not sure if she has 2 stones, one with her husband and another in the family plot or not. I need to visit next time in the area and see if I can get this all straightened up.

thank you!
Patty Kratz Gerhart
