Since I am not related to anyone in Tioga County PA, I track down Civil War vets from the county to make sure their graves are marked with US Flag holder and try to get them entered into FindAGrave and Sons of Union Civil War Veterans databases since the Veterans Administration did not exist then so tracking of veterans was not being done except local state organizations and fraternities.
Our county, though small and isolated in 1860, had the highest casualty rate per 1000 among the counties supporting the Union. When cleaning our abandoned church cemetery I found several unmarked Civil War vets, then I wondered, how many more in the many more abandoned grave yards do we have?
So glad to help you out.

My grandad had wanted me to find information about Alfred. I managed to find a few documents. He is interested to know what your job entails and if anybody else is connected with Alfred's grave. My grandad is Allan Smith, his mother was Susan Rayment, Alfred's younger sister.
Thank you for your work with Alfred's grave.

Carolyn, I noticed you did a lot of work in Call Hill Cemetery. Are you local to the area and would you possibly be able to get a photo of the Hamlin memorial?

|Jon Hadley||RE: Samuel D Bull Family in Burns Cemetery|
My great great grandmother was Mary Almira Bull Galpin, memorial #88259836, second wife of Valentine Orson Galpin. They lived in Burns, Allegany, NY.
I have been trying to determine if Mary's parents were Samuel D Bull, memorial #39032577, and Irena Bull (maiden name unknown), memorial #39032574. Mary's daughter, my great grandmother's middle name was Irena, Mary Irena Galpin Hadley. Mary Bull was born in Wheatland, Monroe, NY according to her obit, but her parents were not named.
Samuel & Irena's sons Martin D, Ethan A, and Allen R and daughter Marcia J were all born in Monroe County according to the 1855 NY State Census.
Not sure if we are related. Is your Samuel Bull, #45368426, related to my Samuel D Bull?

Ha! I guess we both will support Old Himrod from afar. Apparently I have roots in that "home" too. I'm sure we will connect on another profile at some point soon.
