|Owen Jones||Fay L. Jones - Thurston, NY|
Hi, Thank you for your cemetery work! I am very grateful.
A little info about the Fay Jones entry in case anyone else ever looks for him.
As often happens, the date on the stone is incorrect. Fay died March 27, 1901, of what my family said was "black diptheria." I have his obituary from the Bath newspaper which says "tonsillitis." Probably they didn't really know.
The "L" stood for Leslie.
He was a beautiful, little blonde haired, blue eyed boy. My sister has his portrait. (He was our uncle.)

Thank you Caroline!
Yeah, Asa is buried next to Harriet and Lewis on Unionville's upper side by the big tree that came down. I think that he is their grandson. Bonus: Wild strawberries grow there!
Yes,I do have more relatives I have three (Elizabeth, Harriet and Lewis) more Cross' at Unionville as well as twelve Rumseys coming from Thurston, Townline and French Hill.
The saga continues!

Hi Caroline. Thanks so much for submitting the update on Eloise. If you don't mind transferring Eloise Keith #53146530 and her husband Albert Keith #53146584 that'd be wonderful. Thanks so much for adding them and your dedication to Find A Grave. Laurie

Catherine was my 3rd great grandmother on my mother's side.
I took pictures of the monument this year but yours look more readable. Must be the acid rain has taken it's toll over the years.

No problem. I noticed you got her moved. Eleanor will respond to you if you send her a message letting her know that your memorial was set up first. All you have to do it click the edit and send a message. Find A Grave will forward the message to her. She has been photographing the cemeteries in Howard and when she photographs one that is not set up she goes ahead and sets it up before checking one of the other cemeteries.
All those cemeteries in Towlesville seem to be a real problem for people.
Thanks for moving her and best of luck.
