|Ann Maree||Laura Baker in Hall Cemetery|
Just an update on Hall Cemetery: I was able to fulfill your photo request for Laura Baker today, but I am sorry to say it is unlikely there are any more Baker stones to be found and identified. I believe all readable stones have been photographed at this point (as you know, several of us have tried over different seasons, etc to find them all). There are many many fieldstone type markers, but they were either never engraved at all, or have worn away (homemade fieldstone markers were common at that time here). You can see there are several surrounding the Baker memorial, so it's likely one of those fieldstones marks the graves of your other Bakers. Good luck, hopefully I am wrong and someone someday will uncover a buried marker or something!

|Judi Pantano||Omans in Monte Vista Cemetery|
Hi Debi -
I noticed on your photo request for Mary Omans that you would really like pics of all of the Omans and Whittiers in this cemetery. This is a HUGE cemetery, so my recommendation would be to put in a photo request for each person. That way if they aren't buried next to each other, the person fulfilling your request is more likely to get them all. Just a suggestion. :-)
Have a good one!

"Hi, I received a photo request for a grave in the Connors City/Wolcott Cemetery. It is said to be located at about 99th & Hutton Road. I went to try and locate the cemetery in order to photograph the requested grave.
I have been unable to locate the cemetery. I live in the area and am very familiar with the location. I was wondering if you could possiby shed some light as to the exact location of the cemetery. My curiosity is definitely peaked since I am so familiar with the area. Well, apparently I'm not as familiar as I think I am since I have been unsuccessful in locating this cemetery."
I've been in touch with a gentleman who is trying to document Wolcott. He's been told that it is a family cemetery with only four burials there. He HAS been there.
I entered memorials from a list for Wolcott that I'd gotten from the Wyandotte County Archivist. Apparently most or all of these people were actually buried at Prairie Cemetery in KCK.
So sorry for the mix up and your time and trouble. I WILL get my entries corrected eventually.

|Laura Whistle Cates Duncan||Hall Cemetery in Jackson County, Illinois|
I'm fairly new to taking and posting photos as I see them posted in the Findagrave community. I went to Hall Cemetery in Jackson County, Illinois today (it's only about 3 miles from my home). This may be old news to you, but many of the headstones in this cemetery are extremely worn or in disrepair. I didn't see markers for Bailey/Martha/Laura Baker or Abraham/David/William Wood. I'll return to the cemetery in late spring/early summer once it is mowed and see if more stones are visible once the leaves are cleared. I suspect several stones are "face down" but I was not adequately equipped to be able to turn or wash them.

|FutureAncestor||Jonah and Catherine Corll|
Hi Debi, I was at Hadley Cemetery today to work on my family genealogy and thought I would look again for Jonah and Catherine Corll. I've walked this cemetery at least 5 times on separate occasions and its very easy to find loved ones. I have not yet come across stones for them but did find one today for their son Elmer. To the left of his stone is several empty plots, I assume that is where both Catherine and Jonah are buried. If you click on Elmers memorial here at Find A Grave, another member felt the same when he was looking for your loved ones. Hope this helps.

|Richard Grant McClure||Photo Requests|
You currently have a photo request for Resthaven memorial Cemetery In Louisville,Kentucky. This office has become extremely difficult to get Grave locations if you are not a family member. They recognize us Find A Grave volunteers and will not give locations. Please call this office and they will give you the location over the phone. I have maps of all the gardens and mausaleums. You can post the location on your memorial or send me a message. I will be happy to get your picture.

While at New Garden looking for your requests, I also found a headstone for a Lara A. Couch, March 3, 1837 - Feb. 15, 1918. I did take photos. Don't know if she is part of your tree but thought you might want to know.

Solomon Graves at Bethel Cemetery.
There is a photo of his graves stone but you will need to talk to Cindy Marcell. Go to rootsweb,, to the message center, on to Dittemore family, the second message will give you a link to Bethel Cemetery and what photo's they have. She does have one for Solomon Graves. She is a really nice person and if ask, just may go back and take photo's of the Searcy family. I am also interested in the Searcy family because John Edward Searcy married Martha "Mattie" Porter and her father was Calvin Violet Porter, I am from his second family and I do have a snapshot of him.

Thanks for contacting me. B.Leon Graves from Maynardville, TN sent me the photo to upload to his memorial. I did take the picture of his marker in Graves Cemetery in Sharps Chapel. I will foward your message to Leon and ask him to get in touch with you. Leon would be related to your husband as Calloway was his great grandfather.
