They are next to each other. The plots are 3C 41 4 and 3C 42 4. It was my pleasure to help you get the pics.

RE: layman
You are most welcome. We were going to look for family headstones, so I checked for requests before we left. We found most of what we were looking for, so it was a good day.

Martha Ann Hayes Adams
Got an email from Genealogy Society of Carroll County, Missouri. The person who emailed me said they did a search for her stone and could not find it. Hale Cemetery was originally Knights of Pythias, I made a note of this on her memorial. So she is at Hale Cemetery. They believe her stone is one of them that is unreadable.

Hervey Frank Adams
I noticed you maintain the memorial for him. Are you related? Do you happen to know where his mother Martha Ann Hayes Adams is buried. Her obituary states Knights of Pythias but there is no such cemetery in Carroll County, Missouri. Since she lived in Hale and died there and her sons are buried in a cemetery in Hale I imagine their mother is there too although their father is buried elsewhere. I am having someone look up her death record to see what the name of the cemetery is on it. Can you link him to his parents: John Quincy Adams 14587652 and Martha Ann Hayes Adams 106334290. Thank you.

My grandmother was an Adams and John Quincy Adams line is also my grandmother's. The Adams lived previously in Mercer County, Kentucky and moved to Indiana and Illinois and then John and his family moved to Missouri, other Adams moved to Missouri also. I live real near Parke, Indiana where many of the Adams line from Kentucky moved to.

RE: photo
Very happy I could help. I noticed headstones nearby for several other "Slane" family members as well (Nelson and Sarah). I have added photos to their memorials. I also added memorials for two infants named Lawrence Slane and Hazel Ellen Slane. They were born and died three years apart and they share a headstone. Hope that is helpful to you if you are working on the Slane genealogy.

I'm not a paying member at Ancestry so I'm not sure I can access your family tree. I've seen Bob Elbert's tree there. Is yours connected to his? Can you email me your family tree?

That's OK. I'm glad all the links are updated. I may have sent the wrong message to you anyway. I think I intended that message for another memorial! Sorry! And thanks for updating everything!

RE: Josiah Adams
Hi Ellen --

Unfortunately there does not seem to be a gravestone for Josiah. My husband went to the historical society and found the brief obituary.

RE: Alma Lee and Anna Mae Coureton
That person (other relative) requested only Alma Lee. Would you be satisfied with just Anna Mae's memorial? I am trying to find a way to be fair.

Oh, dear...
As far as the transfer goes, there is another relative which has also requested transfer of the memorials you requested.
I will have to find some equitable way to decide who it should be transferred to.

Hi Ellen;
Trust all is well with you. Were you successful
in getting the burials transferred to you? I note that there are memorials set up that reflect a different spelling of the last name and some are duplicates. Trying to get that straightened out....Best Regards

RE: Transfer
I added the info you sent and transferred to you afterward. Hope that is okay. If you would like a transfer, just click the edit, suggest a correction link and send a note so that I have a link to the page you would like transferred. It helps me make sure I am transferring the one you want that way.
