Edit tab for Gerald Tell
Audrey, I'm certain that all edits using the edit tab would have been 'approvable' except for one which was sent using the option "Suggest any other correction or addition". This option would have come to you as an e-mail and required that you use the link to go to Gerald Tell's memorial and physically add the information yourself. Though I don't remember the exact information, I imagine that it could have been an obituary, or census data validating the link to his parents Frank Tell and the memorial I control who is Elsie Mae (WATERS) TELL.

I see Gerald is properly linked to his parents. That is all I ask.

RE: incorrect link
This Augustus Smith was the son of Welcome Smith and Hannah Blake. He did not have a son Augustus, nor a sister named Amy. He was born in the section of Brookfield, Worcester County, Massachusetts which later became West Brookfield, on 4 February 1833, and died in West Brookfield, Massachusetts, on 15 September 1909. He was married only once in 1859 to Ruth Tyler and can be found with Ruth in census records in West Brookfield. He likely died in the home he was born in.

RE: Martha Scott--Florence
Thanks---you can copy my icon if you want. Do you live in western PA? Most of my family is from there. I live south of Philadelphia. Try to get to cemeteries when I'm out there. Florence is one that needs serious attention. Usually overgrown when I've been there---difficult to photograph,

Roy Charles Willmett
I have made the change you requested to the memorial page. He's not a relative of mine; I received his page along with others after I contacted the admin board of Find A Grave about non-responses from the original poster. She had made pages for many of my Raine family members, and would not transfer them to me or add links or other info.
My mother grew up in Maple Hill, and we are there often. I still have an aunt and uncle living in the town.
I'm happy to transfer Roy to your care.

RE: Glad to help!
Thank you so much. I found the Robertson connection. I also noticed this Robertson family may be connected to the Robertson family of Duck Dynasty. I am doing that tree for fun, Willie is cousin to our preacher. My husband's uncle went to the White's Ferry Road school and church.

The "Flower" for Newel C. Petty may need to be removed as his memorial is in the correct cemetery as of today. Thought you would want to know.
Respectfully submitted,

Coats
I noticed under Elizabeth Coats Find A Grave you posted a picture of your grandmother, Neva Coats Staples, who did a lot of research on the Coats family, standing by her grave. Elizabeth would be my GGG Grandmother. I would be interested to know if/how related. Elizabeth's son Perry W. Coats is my GG grandfather. You may email me at stampertrim@aol.com if you like. Thanks so much.

Contact me at sandyjruyle@comcast.net If you will follow Moses Ruyle on Henry's memorial you can get down to my parents Verne Arden Ruyle Find A Grave# 20685591 and Martha Frances Wheeler Find A Grave# 20685751. Hi Audrey,
I'd like to find out how we are related. I am Frank's daughter (Marjorie)'s son (Harvey Ernest)'s daughter's daughter. In other words Frank Staples is my great, great grandfather. I would like to ask if you would share with me your relation to him. I'd also like to thank you for all your work on the staples family which has certainly been interesting for me as I research our family tree. :)

Woodlawn Cem Photo Request
Hi. I am a Find A Grave volunteer and would be happy to take your requested tombstone photo(s) at the Woodlawn Cemetery in Urbana, Illinois. The problem is, the cemetery cannot release burial information to a volunteer. It involves the privacy act. Check the front page of the cemetery memorial to see their policy. If you can include the burial location, section, block, etc., then volunteers can get those photos for you.

James/Schrock Cemetery - Portage
Portage Community Historical Society, Inc.
General meeting
Wednesday April 16, 2014, will be held at 7:00 pm at Woodland Park
Public welcome
Our guest speaker will be Brendan Clancy, Portage Twp. Trustee, who will speak on the township cemeteries. He will tell us about the improvements and changes at the James/ Schrock cemetery where some if our earliest settlers are buried.

Brendan Clancy announced at his State of the Township address at the Bonner Senior Center on Feb. 13, 2014: Improvements to James-Schrock Cemetery - A steep incline at the main entrance has prohibited access to many visitors. We are currently under construction of a new entrance into James/Schrock Cemetery. As soon as the weather cooperates we will continue with this project. Also, a new James-Schrock memorial monument will be installed at McCool Cemetery. This monument will list the names of the deceased at James-Schrock Cemetery. A dedication ceremony is being planned.

Please come out and learn what our trustee is doing. Refreshments will be served. For more information check our page at www.facebook.com/pchs88 or call the museum at 219-762-8349.

Peter & Polly Whittenberg Stone
I'm not sure how far the stone is from the gate or the tree. I was only there one time. Sorry. Is it missing?

When I was there, the farmer that owned the property insisted the gate be left open for his cattle to go in there. He had piled up all the headstones at the base of the tree and the only remaining stone was the one that the cattle hadn't dislodged. He said if we closed the gate, he would tear down the fence.

Our family that lives in the area was trying to preserve the cemetery, so they collected money and had the chain link fence put in. Then there was the threat to the fence, so they leave the gate open according to his demands.

They collected money again and purchased the heaviest marble headstone they could get to support the weight of the bull when walks on it.

I think it's against the law to desecrate a cemetery, even in rural Missouri but they are being bullied. If you are trying to take care of that situation I will back you 100%. Just let me know.
