Thank you so much for placing my great great great grand mother and father's names in the Flint Hill Cemetery. I have recently found Mary's death certificate and would like to add that and possible connect them to other family members. Could you transfer both to me? I'll find their numbers if you are willing to transfer. Again thank you so much. Molly

You posted some memorials at the "Taylor Family Burying Ground". What was your source?? Did you find actual markers there?

I am helping a friend research his Boyer family history and found the photo you posted of John Boyer, my friends Great Grand Uncle. We'd love to know where you obtained the photo and if you have any other photos of the family you might be willing to share?

thanks for the transfers.
Yes there are others of this line there. The other two Montgomerys and all the Vansants. And likely some sunken ones. Lovely cemetery setting.
Sorry to hear about the records.

I am so glad to have been able to make that trip to this honored local family, and the cemetery where they rest. I am also incredibly grateful for the incredible care the property owners have taken of the cemetery and the stones, and for sharing them with me.

Thank you so much. I too had to put this on the shelf, however, I am still interested in your research. I have tried contacting the current owners without any luck but I have since learned that we can actually use a thermal imager to detect the grave sites and perhaps with some physical evidence the owners could be persuaded to at least allow a marker indicating that veterans are buried there. Anywho...please e-mail me at email@example.com and we can go from there. Thanks again for all of your help.

Flabobo, I have just started researching this site and was wondering if you would be willing to share your research, especially what you have on the Civil War veterans.

|TMAIO||Flinthill Cemetery--Chester Co., Pa.|
Would you kindly transfer #53420223 Robert Sergent buried in Flinthill CEM. to me.
He was my second great grandfather who came from Ireland in 1856 with his family,lived in the Newark, Delaware area.
I first visited the cemetery in the mid 1960's and it was as it still is today. The corner markers with iron piping running between them andthe name plate with his name on it.
I do know that one of his sons is also there, and probably his wife. I have these names.
I have researched this plot many times over the years trying to find names and dates of the interred there. So close but so far and I only live about 15 minutes from it.
Thank you for your kind help. Most of the other part of the family are in Head of Christiana in Newark, DE.

Just saw the additional photos at London Tract. Thanks again. I'm afraid many of the markers there will be illegible soon. Your time and effort are appreciated. Nancy

You are welcome. I also looked for your request for Roberts but could not find him. I looked around his uncle's large monument many times and also generally around the cemetery but couldn't find it. The sections aren't marked so it is very difficult to find specific graves there, I found Hodgson just by driving around. Roberts the uncle's grave of course is the biggest one there and easy to find.

I've transferred all of my Jaquette entries from Radnor Baptist Cemetery to your care. Since the entries were created by using the WPA listing from the source noted on each listing, it would be honorable to leave that, or a smilar notation of your choice to acknowledge the source. Thanks

|Barbara Lehman||Re: Tawresey Transfers|
Thank you for the unexpected but Very Welcome transfer of the Edith, John and Henry Tawresey. They are family (G Grandparents & G Uncle) through adoption.
I can remember as a child (about 10) going to the church and cemetery with my Grandfather and my 5 year old brother (both named Harold). My Grandfather was a lawyer and did the legal work for church. We visited the graves while we were there. I remember fondly skinning my knees climbing that beautiful old stone wall. That was 40 years ago and I hope to get back there some day soon.
Again, thank you !

|Dan Oh||RE: George Roberts|
after you move him, 'request a photo'. Oaklands is very cooperative in providing location information, so when the weather breaks I'll see if I can snag that one. Find A Grave has given me a url that will list all the photo requests in Chester county, so I carry that around with me just in case.
If I've missed any of you transfer requests, let me know. I think I'm caught up.
Good luck with your research.
