RE: Hello!
Caroline, I looked in Probate Court this morning for a will or estate for Thomas Newman who died in 1886. Unfortunately, I did not find any records pertaining to this individual.

RE: Hello!
Thomas married Lucy 12 Sep 1969, and no, it does not mention a previous marriage. I will look tomorrow in the probate records for Thomas.

RE: Hello!
Hello! The closest I can get to helping you with burial records for New Matamoras Cemetery would be Lee Hadley at Hadley's Funeral Home in New Matamoras. Here is the link:

http://hadleyfh.com/loc2.aspx

I did look in the records of the Probate Court for a record of her death in the wills and estates, but did not find her there.

Caroline:
You wrote your "3rd great grandparents". I'm glad to connect with you via this photo. I think you wrote "great-great-grandparents" earlier - now I know we're in the same generation - distant cousins, for sure. John & Mary Knorr's, son, Anthony Knorr is my maternal grandfather.
Although living in Florida now, I spent much of my life within a few miles of St Michael's Church and Cemetery - where our great-grandparents are buried.
Best regards, from:

I have gone to St. Nicholas Cemetery and I have taken photos of as many Kline's as I could find. Unfortunately, I haven't come across an Anton George but I will look again when I go to visit my parents again.

Caroline,
Sorry I havent been back to take the picture that you needed. However, I have found a way to up load pix thru google+ and I will be sending you an email to get to the site. St. Mikes will be divided into a number of sections. Let me know if you dont get emailed on each section. As I mentioned I am a shooter and have almost 200 thousand pix of Pittsburgh cemeteries. Let me know if you are looking at other local cemeteries.

RE: Hi!
Caroline, I did get a picture of the Arjalon Price stone from the historical society and uploaded it to his memorial page. I just don't recommend anyone go back to the property. The current owners weren't thrilled about strangers showing up, I suppose. It is an industrial farm with 'disease control' signs posted. That may having something to do with it, but I'm unsure.

Linquist
I added photos for the other Linquists buried in the same lot and entered records for the other Linquists buried there who are without markers.

There is also a Beckman infant (1954) buried in the lot and a Peter Peterson 1858-1946), if they are of interest.

Elizabeth's Picture
I attached a picture of Elizabeth born in 1866; however this may not be the one you are looking for. My files do not indicate an Otto. However, there appears to be a Herman footstone next to her. It was covered, so I didnt shoot it at the time. (I have almost 8000pix of this cemetery in my files

Martha A. McHenry
Sorry, I meant to say that Mr. Wiley did not list her date of death. Also found that for Robert Henry, married to Susie, the dates are wrong. Mr. Wiley lists him as being born Feb 25, 1892, but his monument lists him as being born in 1886. I've come across documentation that lists him as being born Dec. 11, 1888. Mr. Wiley doesn't have a date of passing on him either, he died March 10, 1970. I suspect this list is very old. His son may have made transcription errors when he made a copy to send to Linda as well. For the time being, I'd stick with the headstones and actual readable monuments. As for the person your looking for, you might want to check Mt. Rose or Greenlawn Cemetery, they literally run together. If memory serves right, they're on the Jefferson Ave extension heading off 1st street toward Route 2.

Sincerely,

thechief1963
