In all of the census their children were not married. The last availabe 1940 census they were still single and living together. Adeline M Farrin Duxbury Duffy is her name. Called Addie. I hope that I spelled her last name correct. I have no paarents names for her. Do?

James wife Adeline Duxbury Duffy is buried in Pittsburg, Crawford, Kansas, USA. Her maiden name was Farmin. James and her never divorced. She lived with a man named Duffy. They were my grandmother Mary Elizabeth Duxbury Hartshorn's parents. She's buried in Shawnee, Pottawatomie, Oklahoma. I have a picture of James and his family if you'd like a copy I'll send you one.

Friday, April 25, 1925

Article
Arthur Hale was born in St. Louis Missouri in
1861 and died at his home in Roosevelt, Wash.,
April 9th. 1925.
He was marriedto Mettie Palmer in May 1891,
who died August 17th 1893. To this union one
daughter was born.
Feb. 29 1898 he married Jennie Walter who
survives him.
December 17th, 1879 he came to Klickitat
County Washington with his parents both of
whom passed away serveral years ago.
The First of his live was spent in the livery
and Stage business.
At the age of 16 Mr. Hale became carrier a
mail between The Dalls and Goldendale. The
road traversed was by way of theRockland ferry,
now known as the Granddalles. The route was
covered on horseback during the winter season.
One a trip during a sever snow storm he became
lost , the country was then unfenced, and had to
depend entirely on his saddle horse to guide to
safety. He did not reach Goldendale for four
days and was given up for dead by searching
parties who went out from Goldendale looking
for him.
In January 1909 he moved to Roosevelt, Wash..,
where he spent the remainder of his life, first
poerating a Livery and Garage business and
since July 1919 he conducted a Gereral
Merchandise store.
He lives behind his wife, daughter Frances,
both of Roosevelt, one brother William Hale
of Bickleton Wn., and four sisters, Mrs. A.
W. Bullack and Mrs. Geo. Darland, both of
Gridley California, Mrs. Chas. Mesecher of
Klickitat Wash., and Mrs. Anna Bullack of
Portland, Oregon.
The internment was made in the Goldendale
cemetery, Sunday April 12, 1925.

take a parring knife with you as you go into
the Mountain View IOOF Cemetery in Goldendale,
and cut around the tombston of Wilbur and Emma
Nye, raise it up so it can be read.
That way you can enter the derth day, or year
of Emma.
I just entered Wilbur and linked him to her as
they are husbond and wife.

"Last Rites Held Here Monday For Wm. F. Beyerlin"
"Funeral services were held Monday from the Phillips Funeral Home for William Frederick Beyerlin, who died at the Klickitat Valley Hospital Thursday, Sept. 6 after a long illness. He was 80 years of age.
Mr. Beyerlin was born in Plaueh, Germany. He had resided in the Goldendale area several times, returning for the last time a year and a half ago.
He was preceded in death by hs wife, Mary, who passed away a year ago.
Funeral services were conducted by the Rev. Walter G. Smith. Pallbearers were William Hornibrook, Orville Hamilton, Ray Atkins, William Hudson, Harold Groves and Cecil McDowell.
Interment was in the 100F cemetery.
Mr. Beyerlin is survived by 7 sons: Buell of Leaburg, Ore.; Cecil and Richard of Vida, Ore.; Bert, of Goldendale; Raymond of Centerville; Wilford of Bellingham, and Norman of Anderson, Ind.; two daughters, Mrs. Edrie Stuart of Eugene, Ore.; and Mrs. Melvin Speelman of Clark Fork, Ida; 25 grandchildren, and 10 great grandchildren."

Mrs. Beyerlin had just recently moved back to Goldendale from Bellingham. Services were conducted by The Rev. W. G. Smith and interment was made in the I.O.O.F. cemetery.
Mary Elizabeth Beyerlin was born April 10, 1977 at Richfield. She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Wesley Tate, early pioneers of Oregon. Mrs. Beyerlin passed away at her home in Goldendale, Friday, August 4.
She was united in marriage to William F. Beyerlin at Southwick, Idaho, April 29, 1897. To this marriage 10 children were born.
Following their marriage Mr. and Mrs. Beyerlin made their home for seven years at Russell, Idaho, moving from there to Vida, Oregon, where they resided for 15 years. They then moved to Alberta, Canada and 10 years later moved to Goldendale. In 1936 Mr. and Mrs. Beyerlin moved to Bellingham, where they resided until four weeks ago when they returned to Goldendale.
She is survived by her husband, William F. Beyerlin and one sister, Grace Spencer of Ocean Side, California. Nine children also survive, two daughters, Mrs. Harold W. Stuart, Eugene, Ore.; Mrs. Melvin Speelmon, Clarks Fork, Idaho; 7 sons, Buel of Leaburg, Cecil of Vida, Ore.; Raymond and Bert of Goldendale; Richard of Blue River, Ore.; [Wilfred of Ferndale;] Norman of Anderson, Indiana, 22 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren also survive."
