I took the liberty of posting your photo on her memorial. If this is not o.k. with/you, I'll delete. :)

I totally disagree! A picture is worth a thousand words - it can help confirm or deny, as this one did quite well.

Sorry it's not the right person, but the bio and pictures I added are probably correct for the Max Durst you are looking for.

I can leave it up for a bit - feel free to grab them, to help track down your Max.

RE: Max Durst
Perhaps I'm confused. The way I look at it, this is the only Max Durst at Montefiore, so the photos are correct. The Bio and naturalization document are wrong.

Shouldn't the memorial for your Max be at the cemetery where he turns out to be buried?

No problem getting the pics. I take my walks through there whenever possible.

RE: George James Smart & Family
No, I haven't been to the cemetery ... I was just looking for a death date for your two people and when stuff like this comes up, I can't ignore it. So I posted the memorial. I can email you the death certificate if you wish ... but you can also click on the image to bring it in a separate window and then right click and "save as" and put it wherever you want it. Must be you found the other burials ... :) And I'm perfectly willing to transfer George James to you ... I only made the memorial as a place to post the death certificate.

RE: James Temple (Templo)
You're quite welcome Joannie. I hope you understand, there is no "Templo" here, THIS is most certainly the grave of James Temple according to the onsite lookup. Tell you what happened. In the summer of 2014 the VA sent a crew here to restore ALL the markers in this cemetery to proper height and alignment which was great (we needed it) but whenever they came across a broken stone they had a fast-track to requisition new marker via a list of what they thought they were seeing on the old stone and nobody checked on this. Hence I've found about a dozen (so far) of these new markers with stupid misspellings. Sorry your James had to be one of them. Rich.

Re: Roy McGuire buried in Roland City Cem. Seb. Co. Ark.
Hi! Joannie,
I just noticed the problem that you had with
finding his monument in the Roland City Cemetery in Sebastian Co. Ark. Did you go into the memorial created by OkieBran? I haven't clicked on the link that he has for two of his children (?) to see if they are buried there. I ran across
Roy McGuire, noticed he was a veteran who did
not have a monument photo, so I thought I would
use one of the 20 requests for monument photos that we are given every week on Find A Grave and use it
for him. So.....the message said that Find A Grave was going to keep the request open, so perhaps one day, this military veteran will get a monument photo on his memorial. It is so very important that we give the military veterans the honor due them. If one is going to make a memorial and not bother requesting a photo, why even bother creating it. Joannie I know I am speaking to the choir, but you know other members come along and read these messages, perhaps they will get the hint. Thanks for trying.
