RE: Trinity/Old City
Yes, my original transcriptions were supposed to be for another website and that cemetery had not been done yet. I mistakenly put them under Old City because that was the only sign that I could find when I went there. I had made note of tiny metal plates on the section that I started that said Trinity Episcopal. Then I crossed the driveway to the Old City side and had done a few over there. One grave was famous and was listed as being buried in Trinity Episcopal Cemetery. Then, I was contacted by the sexton who told me how the cemetery was divided up. I tried to contact the admin for the other site, but, I guess that it wasn't corrected. But, before putting them on findagrave, I went back and sorted them out. Probably not 100%, I could have missed some.

In your photo for George Amos Petty, is he the man or child? His father Gabriel is my ancestor and I have no photos of him. Thanks

RE: Medford Friends Meeting memorial
Hi Kelly,
When I photographed this cemetery, i was unable to find a prior transcription of burials here to work from. The entries I made were from the headstone photographs i took. I am puzzled as to why Hannah has no headstone photo. I must have forgotten to upload that one. I will look for it for you. With regards to the baptism, Quakers do not baptise, so that is curious. The archived records of this meeting are held at either Haverford or Swarthmore college and can be accessed by the public on microfilm. Medford meeting was originally known as Upper Evesham Preparatory Meeting. Additionally Medford meeting may have a cemetery book - which would list information about the burials in its cemetery. They have a website, and you could email them. If I cant find my photo of Hannah's headstone, I will stop by and take another one.

RE: Castle Family Cemetery
Hi Kelly,
So sorry that I can't give you any further answers.
I grew up in the Glenn School area and I'm a descendant of Paul Pry Glenn.
Since I grew up on Geer Street I could show you about 40 small grave yards in that area. I have no
pictures of the graves and since this survey was done so many years ago I can't remember if there were any marked stones or just field stones. I do know that some of the names were extracted from the Durham County Death records.
Again Sorry I can't help more

Hardcastle Family

I just uploaded the picture for the Hazel Hardcastle headstone in the Pleasant Hill Christian Church Cemetery. I noticed other Hardcastles in that cemetery. You have memorials for most of them. I noticed that you have the wrong cemetery for a few of the Hardcastles. There are two cemeteries in Warren County, KY that go by the name Pleasant Hill Cemetery:

1) Pleasant Hill Christian Church Cemetary, also called Pleasant Hill Cemetary by the locals. A lot of death certificates list the cemetery with the Pleasant Hill Cemetary name. I live 2 miles from that cemetery. It is located in the Greenhill community of Warren County.

2) Pleasant Hill Cemetary is located in the Rockfield-Richpond community of Warren County.

I found the following Hardcastles in Pleasant Hill Christian Church Cemetary:

1) Cora B Hardcastle - 1887 - 1972
2) Alton W Hardcastle - 1905 - 1946
3) Francis M Hardcastle - 1840 - 1899
4) Rebecca Hardcastle Taylor - 1851 - 1905

You have these listed in the Pleasant Hill Cemetary or the Mt. Pleasant Cemetary.

You need to correct those 4 mistakes. I will be uploading the pictures of the headstones for those four Hardcastles.

Also, Judy Draper has a memorial for Wood Hardcastle - 1871 - 1929 that also has the wrong cemetery listed. I have the picture for that Hardcastle also.

My father Roy Elmo Lee, grandfather Roy Calvin Lee, great-grandfather Burl Lee, and great-great-grandfather Samuel T. Lee grew up in this same area of Greenhill. They knew most of the Hardcastle and Greathouse families.

If you need any further help with any families in the Pleasant Hill Christian Church Cemetery then let me know.

RE: Hardcastles/Sumner
You are very welcome. I am sorry I was unable to locate them. I did find a few that had Hardcastle as a maiden name but the remaining portion of the names did not come close to the ones you were looking for.

In the book, this is what is listed and why I believe the error comes into play.

"Heard, Virgil 2 10 14-Dec-1914 28-Apr-1976 12/31/56 31652

WW2, US Army, h/o Joyce L. Toney; s/o Lucien G. and Dora Elizabeth Hardcastle Heard, his ss# was xxx-xx-xxxx."

I believe whoever or whatever software program may have picked up on the additional information that Tom and Dave provided and included them as interred in Bayou Meto Cemetery.

I don't see any explanation for the other Hardcastle's, but those names could be somewhere else in the book associated with a daughter listing additional information as well.

RE: Coke Hardcastle
Hi Kelly,
I see what you are talking about from that website.

I took over the cemetery records from Dave Brannon and I have his book that he co-authored with Tom Martinet. Both the book and the records match each other but the website does not match.

I do have an explanation that might be why the Heard's are listed, but I do not have any reason for the Hardcastle's to be listed.

I will add the reason on the next message.

Bayou Meto Cemetery
Hi Kelly,

I have the cemetery records and I don't show any "Heard" names on my list, nor do I have Coke, Albert, or E. Hardcastle.

This does not mean they are not here, just that record keeping back in the day wasn't as important as it is now. If you can share with me how you know they are interred here at Bayou Meto Cemetery I can add them using "Family Information".

btw: There is another Bayou Meto Cemetery SW of Little Rock.

Thanks for your comments. I agree some old stones need a little enhancement to bring out the names & numbers. If you can't read it, it could be any ones stone.
