Thank you, my good friend, for the lovely photo of their headstone at Multnomah Park Cemetery. It looks like you even made sure the grass was cleaned away. It meant a lot to me. (And mom's, too.)
With All Sincerity,

There's no burial location information for this person. None at all. Is there a spouse or family member he/she could be buried near?

Thank you so very much for the posting of the stone for Helen Polichronis. I'm researching for a friend
and she will be thrilled to see the pictures of her great grandparents stones. I appreciate your volunteer work. I know how rewarding it is to volunteer for others. Now, I'm hoping to learn more about her family to share with her.
With sincere gratitude,

|John Laird||Multnomah Cem - Oscar A. Hummel|
Sent you an email and it bounced back. I'm a family history researcher working on my lines and Oscar A. Hummel is a distant relative. In the bio of him, his wife's name was listed as "Bastick" and I believe it to be Bostick. And it also lists three children - two of them born before his only marriage: "Children: Lulu Constance b. 1892 WI d. Portland, Multnomah, OR; Rudolph b. 1895 Wisc." I believe that both of these children were actually children of his older brother, who died in 1898, not Oscar. I would be happy to provide any information. Thanks.

Interesting...I will now keep my eyes open. I'm usually out there with a broom and camera. I talked to Gary during the Memorial Day weekend and told him I was with Find A Grave. He had a more detailed map on the table, which I photographed. We talked about the history of the cemetery. It's not a private cemetery, so I wonder what is up with that? They do not seem to be friendly about giving out locations, but if you have an idea what the section is, I will go look. Well, you are doing a great service, keep it up! Happy day, Jhere

I just wondered if that same Andrew Opson was in Minnesota where he was married/divorced and had a daughter that he left behind. Btw A Kritzer doesn't sound finnish and Andrew is english for Antti. Opson doesn't really sound finnish either. Just wondered if you had more information. Sadly can't obtain the dc since don't live in US.

Hello, Hello, I give you accolades in what you do when it comes to finding locations of graves. Greenwood Hills Cemetery is extremely difficult to find a gravestone without any type of location. Just so you know, I am one of those people who carry a broom and hunt for gravestones, with my camera of course. This last weekend, I found my first!!!!!
Do you have any idea what section Fred may be located in? I will do whatever I can to find his grave, but I need a starting point.
Unfornately, there is a charge and it may be only for family members. I was lucky to find a more detailed mapped that was displayed on a table during the Memorial Day event.
Thank you so much,

|Lesley||Brainard Cemetery and Frances W. Brown|
Thanks for the age of Frances W. Brown! I added the info, and ran the tombstone calculator to derive a birth date (http://www.searchforancestors.com/utility/birthday.html)
She was apparently 81 years, 3 months and 28 days old at time of death.
