Kathie L. Webb Blair
RE: Infant DeBiddle
Dear Eric,
Thanks so much for your good wishes. I was discharged on March 23rd so have been home just over a month, now, return to see my surgeon to see if I'm healed enough for a walking cast instead of a "non wgt. bearing" cast (have had five so far). He cuts the cast off, takes x-rays to see how well I'm healing, then puts on another cast. It's been 7 wks. since my surgery so am hoping for a walking cast this time around (for 4 wks.), then a support boot for @ a month. I'll never look at people in wheelchairs the same way again; so many things I take for granted are so difficult for people on wheelchairs. I'll be setting off metal detectors for the rest of my life. I'm going to try to send copies of the photos I took (from a chair) of the exhibits at the care center. Want to go back once I'm mobile again to retake the pictures. Take care and Thanks for everything you guys do.

BOARDER HOARDER
Thor Skogset
Hey There,
On Aug 1, 2012, you sent me information to update for Thor Skogset. During 2012 - 13, I was ill on and off. I put requests in a file, "Findagrave Not Done," for those I couldn't get to at any given time. I found this file today. I do apologize for taking years to complete such an easy task.

Ella Hampton
Dave and Eric, My name is Dan Smith and I have been looking for my great grandmother. It turns out you had my grand uncle, William J. Hampton on Find A Grave and I received all his information From the funeral home that cared for him. The funeral home that cared for my great grandmother(if this is her)went out of business many years ago and the information is lost. She was married to Henry A. Hampton when she died and he worked for Portland city as a blacksmith. She was born 1876 in Kentucky and died in 1923 in Oregon. I believe you have her on Find A Grave(if this is her) and another grand uncle(I never new his name) who died in 1916 that I believe may be buried in the same cemetery with her. If there is anyway you could help me, I would be greatly!!!! Ella Hampton's maiden name was Lawson and her daughter(my grandmother, Marita K. (Hampton) Aleshire) only remembers her being in a wheelchair. Thankyou, Dan Smith.

Dear David and Eric,
My apologies for sending you on a wild goose chase. I submitted the request on behalf on another person, but the information is at home on my desk top; will need to get to it when I can. Since my accident on Feb 17th, except for being at Kaiser from March 2nd to 5th (surgery), I've been at the Friendship Care Center on SE Holgate (Portland) which is operated by IOOF. They have some really great exhibits of antiques and photos regarding Portland history. I took pictures while "free wheeling" around in a wheelchair last week. They didn't turn out very well, will need to come back in a few months and take better ones. I've found it interesting that I am being cared for at an IOOF care center, considering so many of my relatives belonged to it in the past and many are buried at IOOF Cemeteries thru out the U.S. Coincidence? I think it's God working anonymously.

Re: Headstone photo for Deliea Welcome & Wm Hawley
Hello, I want to thank you for the very quick response to my request for a headstone photo for Cordeliea Ann 'Deliea' (Baker)(Thomas) Welcome. I also want to say thank you for solving a bit of a mystery in that I now have been able to link the tie to Deliea's son-in-law William Hawley to her. William was married to Deliea's daughter Lola Belle (Thomas)(Carmack)(Hawley) Ogle.
Sincerely John (fordvickie)

Emma Cauldwell/Emma Westfall
I suspect that Emma was buried in that cemetery as Emma Westfall and that "Cauldwell" was her surname after her husband Thomas Westfall passed away and she remarried. You also have a memorial posted for Emma Westfall in that cemetery. I'm wondering if Thomas Westfall was buried there with Emma. He was first married to Emily Murphy, a sister of one of my GG grandmothers. Emily passed away and was buried in NY. There were children from both marriages. Sharon

Hi,
Thank you for letting me know that this child has no headstone. Such a shame, but the baby's soul is not there. I will go ahead and leave another "flower" for her.
Thank you so very much for everything you've done and all that you do for Find A Grave. You've made this site the success that it is in Oregon and helped me more than I can ever repay you, so I've been "paying it forward" as it were. Take care. I can hardly wait for Super Bowl!
