Link parents, please
I just sent you a SAC edit to link Lewis Eddlemon to his parents. If you could accept that at your earliest convenience, that would be great! Thanks! Deb

So you don't know if I am correct about Lewis' parents, do you? If you know, then I would like to link them up.

It seems that you and Carolyn Mason (she also left a message on my member page) are related then. By marriage, not by blood.

Lewis Earl Eddlemon 62618026
Hello Barb,

Are you related to Lewis Earl Eddlemon 62618026?

The reason I ask is that I see that his memorial was transferred to your care by the originator. Usually when that happens, the person is related or has knowledge of the individual.

I think I found Lewis' parents:

Jacob Henry Eddlemon 29064321
Mary Bell Eddlemon 140646865

I am hoping that if you are related that you can confirm that these are his parents, and if yes, then link him to them.

If you are related, do you know where their other son, Fredrick Edward Eddlemon is buried? He died in Stanislaus County in 1959.

Thank you!

Deb

You are most welcome!! I am 45 and I grew up listening to him. My My family joined Thomas Road in 1972 and we were huge fans of his. I was proud and excited to be the one to photograph his headstone.

I will transfer the memorial page of Leonard Cook to you. I am not quite sure how to connect them as husband and wife. We just happened to notice he was buried next to her stone and took the photo just in case they were related. His # is 145812459.

RE: Gilbert Bland Lawson
Hi there,
The cemetery is sectioned off in multiple sections. The office told me what section he was buried in but I think the guy must have been mistaken. He was new to the cemetery and had given me incorrect information about other things there. I am confident that he is buried there, they did confirm that, but the exact section I think they were wrong on. I did walk the entire section multiple times and did not locate the grave. I plan on trying again but this time asking they check his file again for the location. By chance do you know if the marker is an upright or flat?

Hi,
You have a photo request for Elias Lawson, at Sunnylane Cemetery located in Del City, Oklahoma.
There are several of us that take photos there but we need to know the location of your request.
If you would be so kind at your convenience to call the cemetery 405-677-8384 for the plot location please?
Then add the location to your photo request or submit it using the edit feature to the manager of the memorial.

Then one of us will gladly fulfill your request.

Thanks so much,
Cyndie

Rose Hill , OKC
I would like to help you with you headstone requests for ROSE HILL cemetery here in OKLAHOMA CITY but the cemetery not very helpful nor do they have good maintenance or grave markers to tell you where your at. I went to ask them if someone was buried here and they said it would cost me 5$ for that info. that their services is for family only and they had to call in to get the info. when i asked for maps of the cemetery so i can find where things are they said tell the family to request the map for the info on which they are inquiring. There phone number is 405-843-5771 or fax number 405-843-5754.

re: Ronald Eddlemon photo request
Hi again!

I talked to the cemetery yesterday and they said that the headstone had been ordered but has not yet arrived. I went to the cemetery today and took a photo of his plot and also his temporary marker. I have posted photos of both. I go to the cemetery quite regularly, so each time I go, I will check Mr. Eddlemon's plot to see if the permanent headstone has been installed. Once it is there, I will take a photo of it and post it.

=)

Rev. Henry Robinson
Robinson Cemetery in Leake County, MS was last surveyed in 1973. The only headstone not broken at this time was H. O. Robinson's. All known persons with information are deceased and the cemetery is located on private property; current owner is unknown. According to genealogical information my mother has, the cemetery was unable to be located in 2007.

re: Ronald Eddlemon photo request
Hi!

Since Mr. Eddlemon has just died and his memorial service isn't even until December 10th, I would make a suggestion to delete your photo request and repost it in maybe 4 months. That is usually the very soonest you would get a stone installed for someone, thought most of the time it takes a lot longer - generally 9 months to a year. I could take a photo of the plot itself if you like, if you knew where it was going to be located and be able to tell me the exact plot number and whatnot, though I think they start preparing the plot a couple of days before the actual burial (2 days from now), so they may already be preparing it where I cannot take a photo of the plot. Just a few things to think about and figure out! Will help you either which way. I am sorry for your family's loss.

Barb you wrote:

Feel free to email me at barbmaceil@sbcglobal.net and put MONKEY PICTURES in your message. I'll send both pictures to you.

I am writing:
A person would have to be .......if they
hated that photo. I love it, why did you
say "feel free to hate it". I think it is
the most precious photo I have seen in a
coon's age. That photo is a keeper.

I want to keep that photo on my public page
so others can enjoy it.
So, please send me another message without those remarks, about feel free to hate it, okay?
People will think I said something derogatory
about your photo and that is far from the
truth!

So, the 'little girl' is not yours then?

Barb,

Loved you photo, she is so adorable, I had to
enlarge the photo to really capture her face.
Is she a pet?

I hope you don't mind that I sent a copy of
her to my many Find A Grave friends and my granddaughter.
She cannot help but bring a smile to ones face.

May Heath
Hi! In regards to your photo request, can you please call the cemetery and obtain the grave location (Section & Lot numbers) and ask them whether or not there is a grave marker? Please post this information to the memorial or send it to me.

Oakridge-Glen Oak Cemetery: 708-344-5600

Oakridge-Glen Oak is a huge cemetery with well over 30,000 burials, and the information is needed in order to find someone there and take a photo of a grave. I go here regularly, and I should be able to take a picture shortly after receiving the grave location.

Thank you! Ace
