RE: Ned and Georgia Alexander
Hi Jackie,

I'm not much closer to Sacramento than you are - New Mexico to be exact. I do memorials in various Veteran's cemeteries around the country from the VA's burial index, which shows her buried with your Uncle. The headstone should be in place by now, it usually takes 3 to 4 weeks, so I sent a request for a local volunteer to take a picture.

I have transferred her memorial to you. I'm thrilled to have her with family.

Ned and Georgia Alexander
Jackie, I have been working on adding memorials at Sacramento Valley National Cemetery, and just added Georgia Jean Alexander. I see that you manage her husband Ned's memorial, and wondered if you would like me to transfer Georgia to you.

August Schwidde photo
Hi,

I am so excited to see the photo of August Schwidde.

I recently traveled to Danville National Cemetery in Danville Illinois to photograph the headstone of my wife's great grandfather, Herman Schwidde, and had findagrave correct the name--it had been uploaded as Schwiddle.

Herman is one of August's brothers (which you may have known already). I've been doing a lot of searching for Schwidde information over the years, and yours is the first photo from August's generation I've seen--thanks for sharing!

And, naturally, I'd love to compare notes on Schwiddes!

You're very welcome for the photos, Jackie. Very sorry they couldn't include a marker. Photographed three unmarked graves today :) Bringing too much bad news.

Fred Helms
I put Fred in the Helms cemetery as that matched the location named on his death certificate of "Japan, MO." However, the Martin cemetery on AE does, too, so since his wife Caroline is buried there I've moved him there. I've also transferred him to you as you're related and I'm not. Good luck with your research and family reunion!

RE: Rowena Helm
Jackie, All you had to do was remove the data from the flower you put on his memorial. Every thing else was OK. Andrew

A note concerning FLOWERS:
Do not post biographical info, military service records, census data etc. as a flower. This is a violation of the Find-A-Grave guidelines. Use the EDIT tab to provide the info, and I will update the memorial or transfer it to you.

I only find one memorial for Albert C Helm.

However, I will transfer Albert C helm, Rowena Helm and Kermit Helm to you. Am trying to get a map placed on the title page of Old Argo Cemetery.

Helm
I'm so glad you found William Helm's memorial page. My husband is related to William's wife Elizabeth Mestemacher. It's always nice to meet a "cousin". :)

RE: My great grandparents headstone
The lighting was SO bad... I did a rubbing which I have not transcribed yet... however, I hope to do that shortly (IE 2 - 3 days) but I also want to get back there in the later afternoon when I think I can get better pictures.
