Spent 3 hours there so I don't remember where they were. I wish it was cooler. Dave

Osborne, DW & Cornelia ONeal
Thank you for the info on DW Osborne and Cornelia O'Neal Osborne. I do believe he married her after his first wife died. Men don't like to be alone! On Cornelia's memorial page you have her born in 1848 but tombstone states 1849. Just wanted to point that out. Thanks again!

Thanks so much for the Howard/Luallen photos. They were my grandfather's sisters and the photos mean so much to me. You are such a blessing to so many.

RE: Sheermans
Thanks, Nancy. I agree on the Sheermans. They are fixed now. I have been working on finding all the family. I knew Percy and Irene were buried here, just didn't know where till I saw that you had added them. Only one brother left to find, but he lived and died in Oregon, so may take a while.

Transfers of Percy and Irene would be awesome.
Thanks so much for all you do.

Have a wonderful summer.

Ashes scatter or split up!!
Don't think I have anything quite that unusual. I do have a few that were cremated with no burial location for the ashes. Both my mom and dad were cremated but we buried my moms ashes in a cemetery with her first husband, her parents, and my half-brother. My dad's ashes are buried in Indiana with his second wife. My parents were divorced. Another relative and her husband are buried on the grounds of a church under a tree. We have some neighbors who both were cremated but it didn't state in their obits what would be done with their ashes! One of my great aunts ashes was suppose to be buried after she died but were not buried until several years after her death. My dad finally got the funeral home to bury them. Well good luck with all your complicated memorials. Always glad to work with you. Have a nice evening, Farm Girl from MO.

RE: Sylvia Shelmadine
I've tried to do that with all the credit offers I recieved in the past and I put everything they sent me in the envelope, too. Wrote on it that I didn't want their credit cards and that I wanted my name and address removed from their mailing lists. Worked part of the time but some places would just keep on sending them! I had it stopped for a while but they are back at it again. These spam e-mails are a bigger headache! Don't they know that most people don't respond to e-mails from people they don't know.

More later, Farm Girl from MO.

RE: Sylvia Shelmadine
Now I am really confused as to where she is actually buried. I see that Sylvia's death year (2013) has been added to her stone in Hillcrest Mem. Gardens in Macon but her obituary says she is buried in Mt. Tabor with Mr. Gladhill! I went ahead a created "another" memorial for her there and stated that it is a cenotaph. Guess I may have to call the funeral home to see where she is actually buried. Boy don't we love it when there are two stones for the same person. I know of several people who have two stones in different cemeteries and it makes it so confusing for those of use creating memorials.

Yes, I was worried we might have lost Find A Grave for good. Never know what is lurking out there in cyber-space. Some hackers are getting pretty good about infesting computers now days with all sorts of stuff! I get several spam e-mails everday and I wish there was a way to put an end to them. Never open them just hit the delete button and send them to the trash! You think they would give up and stop sending them. Just as big of a headache as the credit card offers I get in the regular mail. Just a waste of paper in my opinion. Thought I had them stopped until a few days ago when I received a couple of new offers in our mail!

Boy is it getting hot outside. Glad to see we will get some relief soon with cooler temps tomorrow. Take care, Farm Girl from MO.

RE: Sylvia Shelmadine
I really thought Sylvia was buried at Mt. Tabor with her other husband, so that is why I had her listed there. I took a photo of her stone last fall but it did not have her death date on it. I just presumed they hadn't gotten around to engraving it yet. Sorry for the mix up. You do such a nice job creating memorials and taking photos. I really do appreciate all the work you have done. Have a nice day, Farm Girl from MO.

We are well, too. Trying to keep up with yard work.
I have been doing gardening, too. So good to be able to get outside!!

The only thing is the ticks. I have gotten so used to them that I'am able to actually take them off, myself. I used not to be able to touch them. I still don't like to, but I can, at least.

I also miss "talking" to people, but the edits are just so easy now. I think some people still aren't aware of the new way, but they will get caught up.

Take care, always glad to hear from you.

RE: Dubree
Hi- I'm thinking the family moved him when his mother died. In the national cemeteries the words "In memory of" before the name indicates there are no ashes so in looking at the stone with his mother it appears there are ashes with her. But I've heard of ashes in more than one place. If he has ashes at Memorial Park Cemetery I think the memorial should stay, if there's a marker and no ashes it should stay as a cenotaph. Is there a way to check at the office? I'll place a link in his bio to your memorial until we can confirm. If there's no way to confirm maybe placing a link in your memorial's bio and a small explanation regarding his death certificate would solve the dilemma.

Basil Orland Wood cemetery photo
Do you still have copies of the photos you took at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Jacksonville, Missouri? Could you please add the photo to Basil Orland Wood's memorial #14894962. You had a photo attached to a memorial I created for him but I had to delete it so I am hoping you still have the photos saved to your computer. Take care, Farm Girl from MO.

Janice Spilman
Elijah Burton Cemetery
Hi Nancy My name is Janice Spilman and my maternal grandfather was Joe Burton in Higbee. I live in Higbee also. His father was Medley Burton. I think the Burton's buried in this cemetery are relatives of ours. I just visited the cemetery on 5-26-14 with some of my cousins. I have a list of the people buried in this cemetery
