You posted the picture on this memorial. It is upside down, would you mind going back to it and turning it?
Thanks in advance for your consideration of this request.

Thank you for posting the picture of the McNairy headstone but I am still unable to read the names and dates in the photographs and the information is not posted on the Find A Grave memorial page. If you have that information, I would appreciate your sharing it with me or posting to the page, if you can. Thanks again.

I found the marker for John W. Quarels. As of 2010 he had no headstone but a funeral home marker. His
Find A Grave Memorial# 49564260.
I am assuming that the photo you took is probably the same one.

I really don't know if that is Max's grave or John Quarrel's either.
If you would, post them all and just put that the unidentified grave is just that, unidentified. Maybe I can find out from someone.
Thank you for your time and trouble......

Carl, I'll see what I can do, but I don't have a scanner and those letters are badly faded. Maybe I could make copies and mail them to you. Lovic

Carl, Thank you so very much for this transfer. I have been searching for my great-great grandfather's grave for quite some time. I have the letters he wrote to his wife during the five months he served the Confederacy before his death. The last one was written just four weeks before he died, and he was about to be discharged. TRAGIC! Lovic

I very much appreciate the work you do. I am still in awe of finding him in all these years.
If you hadn't taken this picture and done his memorial I would never have learned he had his own grave and Tombstone. Gratefully . Patricia

Yes D W Sisk is at Camp White Sulphur Springs Confederate Cemetery. I am wondering if his brothers had the gravestone put up. They were also soldiers in the war but he was the only one that died of the 4 brothers in the war. The 5th brother was to young at the time.My great grandmother was only 8 1/2 months old when her Daddy died. I called my cousin to tell her that I had found the picture of his grave on find a grave. She is calling her familY. I just started with Find a grave but I will work from now on my tree I am building and I have 2700+ and many more to transcribe on the to find all the ones on my family and help register them on this site. Bless you. Patricia.
