RE: RW Moseley
Lisa - thank you so much for the transfer. I really appreciate it. His name is Robert Wilburn Mosley - parents are Silas & Doratha Mosley. He was born in Cuthbert, Randolph Co., Ga. Is your ggrandmother a Mosley??? Let me know her name. That would be great is she was related to my Mosleys. If she is, I'm sure I can let you know. Again, many thanks. Dani

The Lucas family
You are listed on findagrave as maintaining profiles on the Lucas family buried at Center Ridge, Clarke Co, MS. I did the Church Minutes and Rev Lucas is a name I recall. I am compiling memories and stories of the families (especially the old ones) buried at Center Ridge to be shared with the church next Memorial Sunday. Any input on this family would be greatly appreciated. paulacarterdavis@yahoo.com For the cemetery committee, we are trying to get addresses for descendants of those buried at the cemetery, also.

RE: Jacob Devault Droke
I would appreciate the transfer. Do you think the Unknown DROKE could be Susannah? Are there any local burial records?

Jacob Devault Droke
Are you related? He is my ancestor and I am trying to trace his parents. His daughter Frances Ann Droke married William T. Williams and their son Jordan Droke Williams was my grandmother's grandfather.

RE: Fisher Links
I was just surfing around and noticed they weren't connected. I know from experience it's easier to have the numbers readily available than to hunt for them, so I forwarded them to you. :) Are you related to the Fisher family? My great great grandmother was Caledonia Fisher (buried at Pleasant Hill in Zero), she married a Pickett, and so did her brother, so there are a lot of Fisher/Pickett connections. I ask because I read somewhere that the Fishers were Choctaw, but all I have is speculation.

Bailey Family
Lisa,I have a document showing Thomas W. Bailey's service in the 5th MS Cavalry. Thomas was captured at Nashville on Dec. 16, 1864, and sent to the notorious Union prison, Camp Douglas, near Chicago. I would be happy to post that document or share it with any Bailey relatives on this site. Thomas is buried in the Greenwood Cemetery in Tate County. Thomas' sister, Amanda Bailey Phillips, was my great grandmother.

RE: Obituaries
You're welcome, Lisa. I swear, obituaries are our best friends. Where else can you find parents, siblings, spouses and children all listed in one paragraph. Whoever came up with that obituary idea was a genius.
