RE: Millikin Family Headstone Photos
Hi Leona,

On Aug 10, 2015 you replied:

You're very welcome, Dorothy! I'm always happy to help in any way I can. Have you contacted the Plain City Historical Society to see if they have anything on the family. They have at least one Millikin obituary available, and possibly a file on the family.

-----

Since about that time, I've been heavily involved in working out a very complicated puzzle in another branch in the family, so only just this afternoon acted on your suggestion to contact the Plain City Historical Society. I am so thrilled that I did.

There is a listing for a Mrs. Elizabeth Millikin. I have contacted the society to see if this is my 2X great grandmother, Elizabeth Cook, wife of Col. James Millikin. If it is, I will be way more than thrilled! And...

I was finally able to solve the mystery of yet another "Robert B. Millikin." Thanks to the other Millikin obituary name listed for a Roccelina M. Millikin, a search for her turned up her husband, "Robert B. Millikin."

Also, I will forever be grateful for how kind you were in helping me with the Madison County Cemetery Photo pages. And, especially for finding, and posting the photo of, my dear Uncle James Millikin's gravesite!

Your the best!

That is fine, I guess. I am not sure what that really means. Are you able to explain?

Thanks,

Donna

Millikin Family Headstone Photos
Hi Leona,

Can't begin to tell you how much I appreciate your adding the photos of James B., Rosa, Robert, and Cora Millikin's headstones. I have been working at having photos added and linking as many members of the Millikin family as possible. The addition of these photos puts me that much closer to my goal.

Thank you,

Ezekial Meddles etc
Thank you so much - may I also ask????? Are there records there at East York Cemetery - Ezekial's father John Meddles is buried there - he had a wife whose name was PARMELIA - all we've been able to find is that HER Birth 1796 in Harrison, Ohio, United States Death 1860 in Tuscarwas Co, Ohio, United States. John's headstone is SO old - they died w/in a few years of each other - I have just had a hard time locating her. With your knowledge, it seems, of these area - could you direct me as to where I could further ask. OR that this cemetery has records that might show where she is but with NO stone etc. I'm just tossing this out there in case you are there again. Thank you SO much. Darleen
